Bad experience in Houston Normally we love extended stay but the Houston one we stayed at recently had many issues. First we were checked into a room that had cockroaches. After speaking to the manager we were given a different room. Later on I requested to go back to the first room and see if I had left my water bottle there and was told that someone else was staying in there! I was shocked they put someone else in the room when I had told them there were roaches in there! The next evening around 7 the water was shut off for an emergency issue and we were not given a time frame for it to be fixed. No water for showers, brushing teeth or even flushing the toilet. The next morning I heard that there was someone on the way to fix it. Why did they wait until 9 am to have someone come fix it when they have hundreds of people as guests living without water?? Nothing was offered to us, I had to ask if they could give us some water bottle for at least drinking water! I was given two water bottles and that was it. Extended stay Houston let down their guests they should at least have been providing drinking water to all the guest , they could have set water bottles out where the coffee was supposed to be (no coffee was provided that morning assuming due to no water) not even a note apologizing for the inconvenience this has caused to everyone. At checkout I asked what they are doing to reimburse guests for the inconvenience this has caused to everyone and was told that it was like a natural disaster that can’t be planned for or reimbursed. But they could have planned to have a plumber there sooner to fix the water!! We had to leave there feeling nasty without showering for our trip back home. Highly disappointed with the stay, the rooms, and the lack of service!! Stay here if you want to run the risk of taking home some roaches that may find their way into your luggage. Even our second room we were in had obvious spray treatments for bugs.

Clean rooms & friendly staff The rooms are clean & the staff are amazing and extremely accommodating. I’ve been here for about a month & very rarely have I had any issues. Whenever I had a concern they would immediately come up with a solution. Definitely worth staying here

Nightmare Stay!! When we tried to check in, the desk clerk refused to give us a room. Maria Rodriguez said that there were no vacancies and that we should try another hotel. We were shocked and confused, as the hotel was far from full. We suspected that she was refusing us service because of our religious beliefs. Things got worse when we asked for a refund of our deposit. The Maria became hostile and accused us of being dirty and thieves. She said that we were not fit to stay in his hotel and that we should leave immediately. We were humiliated and angry at the way we were treated.

Overall, great experience this trip. The front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating with requests for items upon and throughout my stay. I received extra towels and other items upon my request.My room was clean and quiet. Maria and Miseya were awesome!

Satisfied Customer (except Breakfast) Very happy with the quality of the room, how clean the room is, and the price. The breakfast was the only semi-disappointment: I'd like to see Orange Juice and perhaps some bagels or sweet rolls (cinnamon/apple) added.
