Very nice property in a good location Typical Four Points hotel. The bar has a decent menu which is difficult to find out about on the web site. Overall what you expect of the brand. The room was comfortable and the staff was pleasant. I'd go back.

Dated and noisy but good location The staff are the hotel are very good and actually make up to some extent for the hotel's failings. It is next to a very busy road and can be extremely noisy. The rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment. The AC is noisy and doesn't seem able to regulate the room temperature. Would score lower if the staff were not so good.

Enough was Enough Me and a couple of my colleagues stayed here on and off for around seven weeks from October to January. Our manager suggested the hotel due to the location next to the city center and we didn't have a hire car.. On arrival we noticed right away the hotels decor was dated and very tired. As we travel often around the world with work and don't have a choice where we stay, we just put up with these things. So where to start?! Our first trip on level 2 The roof on the second floor had obvious water damage and on my third week I had water dripping into my room for a few hours from the roof, it was stopped a few hours once I contacted reception. I was not interested in moving rooms as I only had a day to go and was leaving anyway. The fire alarm went off two nights in a row at 0315 for a full minute as well both false alarms and unexplained. It was still warm enough for the pool to be open, it was being "cleaned" by the automatic pool hoover 24/7 as it never got removed from the pool. So you always had the hose floating around when you were in it. We started to notice some of the staff were not very polite and pretty abrupt also. We started waiting until night when Travis was on shift before we had to have something dealt with as he got things done and was very polite. The lady at breakfast was also very nice and always smiling. I am sure after staying there for like 60 nights most people would remember us but we certainly didn't feel very valued customers. Quite often points on our Bonvoy would not show up. Any questions about that would be swiftly swerved. Being a gold member means nothing apparently by the way. On check out I was charged for watching a movie on the ancient TV that i certainly didn't watch, it was removed. There is a cinema literally 100 meters away at half the price. On my second trip I was put in an outside room around the by the pool, It was noisy as its next to a car park and the road, the 10 mm gap under the door was not very sound proof and my TV did not work. So I requested a room move after one night and got one right away. Then the next afternoon my key didn't work, i went to reception and was met by the staff lady asking why I was o late on checking out and that she'd been waiting for me!? I informed her that i was still due to be staying there for another 13 nights or so. I was then told that I was wrong! I had to get my email confirmation to prove that I was not lying!! I should of just checked out then but my colleagues with a higher breaking point than me wanted to stay, so for ease of ubers and things I did. The rest of my stay went pretty quiet. On our last stay, we were met with usual abrupt welcome we that we had now been accustomed to. Settled into the hotel with a 34 night stay ahead of us. The next morning jet lagged my friend was outside for a smoke on the second floor. He discovered a live water feature from the roof of the corridor. Leaving a massive pool of water on the floor. Paint flaking from the roof. There were no maintance guys so it was just left till he came in in the morning. The water was turned off the rest of the day until 1900. The next morning there was no hot water. The next day we checked out. Looking back I dont know how I (we) put up with so much. Other thing, getting a good water temp in the shower was a nightmare most valves must be on their last legs in most rooms we had. The price is ridiculous to be honest, yeah good location but there is only so much around there.

Great location but hotel needs to improve First impression is the bar area which is clean and modern but the receptionist was abrupt and not very helpful when I had a problem with my card and my other colleagues experienced similar - the young lady really needs to work on her customer care. The rooms are very dated and it was a cold spell so I turned up the heating and it just smelt terribly of burned dust for about 2 days. Internet is slow and generally appalling, making it very unsuitable for business and most of the TV channels did not work correctly. The gym is very basic and only two running machines so get there early or join the queue. Breakfast was excellent and the location next to many really good restaurants and shops was a saving grace. So much potential for this hotel to do better but it was a very average stay and I would not recommend it as there are better hotels nearby.

The worst The worst four points I've been too. Old, in desperate need of renovation, noisy (next to a huge interchange). As a gold SPG member I was expecting to get a breakfast, but got nothing. There are a few restaurants nearby, which is a plus. But still - stay away.
