Diamond member satisfaction We do family weekend every weekend for swimming. This was a hidden gym Manny and the night bar lady Trinity at the front desk. It was just a perfect hotel in a perfect rm and location, seems they have a picture of a pool but there is no pool. However, Trinity was so kind we decided to stay anyhow, thank you, MANNY YOU NAILED IT...

Mold & Mildew Oh My! BEWARE: THIS HOTEL HAS A MOLD AND MILDEW PROBLEM. You know there's something wrong in a hotel when you walk into the lobby and smell chlorine and mildew but the hotel doesn't have a pool. The smell and mold were also present in our room. So much so that members of my family who are allergic to mold got SICK. When we complained to the front desk we were told that maybe we had the fan too high. The rooms are dated and the breakfast food in the restaurant is TERRIBLE. This was a Holiday Inn before it became a "Hilton" but if it weren't for the sign out front you'd still think it was one.

There for us The Doubletree Westchase was there for us in our time of need We lost power in the May 16th Houston storms and need a place to stay. Booked two rooms at the Doubletree. One was a very large room with two double queens. The other was a king.suite. Both were excellent. The hotel has been recently remodeled and rebranded to Doubletree. Desk staff and restaurant staff were very friendly. Shout out to Manny at the front desk. He was always friendly and helpful. Hotel is virtually brand new with all fresh carpet, paint, furnishings. One of the pictures on Tripadvisor shows a pool. There is no pool. Would recommend.

Sour to Sweet We went for my bday weekend and it wasn’t the best start to be honest. The check-in felt like we were a bother to the short lady-Nicole I believe her name was on her shirt. She spoke to us in a tone that felt she was bothered by us coming in; i could only assume it was close to the end of her shift as she had her purse and bags all packed up on the counter. When I asked her about the difference in pricing she matter of factly said that’s just the price. To not further sour the mood I just paid and got our keys. We went to the bar to have a night cap drink and the lady there Brittany was polite, ready to go as she was cleaning up but more polite than the front desk lady. The room we booked was not the room we wanted but we just decided to rest and find somewhere else to go in the morning after we spoke to management. When morning came, management was readily available but the new lady, Mariah, asked how she could help-GREAT START- so everything was explained to her; now listen when I say Mariah completely turned everything around for the absolute BEST she did just that! Yall, she apologized for what we experienced and did provide us an explanation on the pricing, policies the whole nine. Mariah’s customer service was IMPECCABLE! Her energy was absolutely welcoming and because of Mariah, we decided to STAY! She was even tending the bar during our stay and she took amazing care of us there as well. And this is where we did not miss Nicole’s snide comment about Mariah being friendly to us. She made sure our food came out hot and tasted great, drinks were WONDERFUL, the presentation was beautiful, once again Customer Service was immaculate. Have you ever had someone get everyone having a conversation at the bar? Mariah made it happen, she’s just the best thing that may be at this hotel location and we can surely see her being a Manager there as well. She’d absolutely deserve it and flourish there.

Doubletree Stayed at this hotel for a week when being in town for business. It was clean and offering what you would expect. The gym was better than I had expected. Plenty of parking space just outside of the hotel entrance. Can stay here again if coming back to this area of Houston.
