GLAD IT WAS A SHORT NIGHT When I arrived, I inquired about a late check out and the staff was very accommodating. Once I arrived at my room, I don't even want to know what the people in the joining room were doing, but it was going on all night. My reason for stopping here was so that I could work the next day without having to stop along the road to Dallas. Needless to say, I left early. As I said before, the staff was great, but this hotel needs a lot of updates. The shower didn't work very well and there were cracks all in the tile. I understand older hotels, but this one is in dire need of an overhaul.

Terrible...Asked for Refund I am a native of Huntsville, Texas and I have never experienced La Quinta Inn like that before. My first outlook was, "is this place closed". Unfortunately, they were open when it should have been shutdown for some much needed overhaul. The room was dirty and smelly. I went in and out..and I do mean in and out in seconds and could smell the stink of pet odors on me and prayed that it was not in my hair as well. Upon returning to the hotel, I had talk myself into a turnaround back to Houston. I could not stay in a dump like that. Something seriously wrong with this place. Everything dirty, including the grounds. Don't know what, but did not stay around to find out. Thankful they refunded my money.

My La Quinta Inn Experience Hotel needs renovating. The floor was dirty; walls were stained; bed covering had reddish brown stain when pulled back; desk chair was so dirty that I had to wipe it down before placing a towel in the chair to sit; shower curtain was dirty (hotel did replace with a new one). I was in town for my cousin's wedding and this is where she was getting married. I went and got bleach and cleaning supplies from the front desk and cleaned my own room. This was my first time staying at a La Quinta Inn. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations and PRAYFULLY, this is not what all La Quinta Inns look like. I won't be staying here again.

WORST HOTEL EVER!!!! If it wasn't for work then I would have checked out of this run down dump!! It's unbelievable that the La Quinta brand allows this hotel to operate in the condition its in and tarnishing their brand. Stayed for a total of about 3 weeks and just awful. Had to kill gnats in the room each day, the room was not swept or vacuumed and the second room I stayed in, found an empty water bottle and writing pen on the floor next to the fridge that was never picked up during my stay. I, even missed placing some trash in the garbage can and left it there to see if it would get removed and it didn't. The beds and pillows were comfortable and some of the staff friendly, but what a real s..t hole! Needs to be completely demolished and rebuilt. I wouldn't even waste my points for a free stay at this hotel.

Customer service good - hotel not so good My family stayed at the Huntsville La Quinta in February 2018. We were attending a dog show event nearby and needed a hotel that was pet friendly. The customer service was very good in that within hours of me submitting a complaint about the hotel to LaQuinta’s corporate website I received a response from the property manager apologizing for our experience and refunding me the money I paid. The hotel is run down and in need of renovation. That can’t be fixed immediately, but the manager said she’d ensure housekeeping does a better job regarding how dirty the rooms are. There was something sticky on the tv remote so after I wiped it off and washed my hands, I reached for a supposed clean washcloth to dry my hands and thought to myself, “Please God don’t let that be a booger”. Even if housekeeping cleaned it better, I still wouldn’t choose to stay at this location. The furniture is stained and ripped, bedding looks old, carpet is yucky, tub is rusty and I just didn’t feel clean staying there. I’d rate the hotel itself as terrible, but was pleased that the manager tried to make it right by refunding my money.
