Legacy Vacation Resorts-Indian Shores

BLACK MOLD IN THE DISHWASTER! DISGUSTING!! My family and I were here because FEMA helped us recover from the hurricane. When we first checked in there was an odor in the room, but I lit some incense and opened the patio doors to let fresh air in. A few days later I opened the dishwasher to wash dishes and the smell of mold punched me in the face. I had to go to an event that morning, so I took pictures and was going to report it as soon as I got back. A few hours later we receive a phone call saying they want to kick us out because of "smells" in our room. I went to go speak to management and they accused my family for the cause of the "smell" and refused to look at my photos of the mold or even go in the room and look at the dishwasher. I called FEMA and complained, they said we should just check out and go somewhere else, so we packed up to leave. The manager and one of the maids harassed me and my 5 yr old son as we were leaving and even called the police because I was answering the questions of the guests that were asking me why I was leaving. I'm hoping this is just an issue with that individual manager and this is not how Legacy Vacation Resorts treats hurricane victims. I am DISGUSTED my how we were treated by that MOLD INFESTED dishwasher Photos added for proof.

Additional "Resort Fees" Charged so-called "Resort Fees" which were neither listed nor disclosed during the entire booking process in addition to the fees as listed on Booking.com. Also, the temperature of the room air-conditioner could not be adjusted, and the pool was nothing like in the advertising photo and actually was family size.

Our 1 bedroom suite was nicer than my first apartment! Absolutely a beautiful property with a friendly staff. Our room was better than the online pictures! Spacious, comfortable bed, and clean are just 3 of the room highlights. You can walk right across the street to watch the sunset on the beach during your stay. Free WiFi, free parking, free grilling area included. Our biggest regret was that we couldn't stay longer than 3.5 days to enjoy everything the property offers, as well as the Indian Shores area offers. I would 100% recommend this property to couples on a get-a-way weekend that just want to chill in a safe, clean, area of Florida.

Florida Fun This was our third time staying on the property. We have been very pleased each time and love all of the staff. Donna and Mackenzie have both been very helpful each time we have stayed. The only thing I could possibly suggest is ceiling fans for the rooms the air conditioning kept freezing up and had a hard time cooling the unit.

Best litter hidden Gem _! It was perfect location A + little hidden gem. All areas clean and eco friendly. Rooms were spacious. All staff were friendly and welcoming. A lot of fun things available to do. Great location. I lived in Seminole for 10 years back in the 90’s never saw this. Will definitely be back again. Miss the West coast beach _️ .
