Beyond Rude Front Desk Staff Oh my goodness the front desk staff. When we checked in they told us that at some point they would be cleaning our carpets and air conditioning unit. No problem. Except the time they came during our 4 night stay was when my daughter, who has health issues and was not feeling well, was in the room laying down. She was asleep and they woke her up and said they needed to come in. She asked if they could come back later but they said they are supposed to do it room by room so not ideal but could ask the front desk. I then went to the front desk and Jasmine told me there was no option and they had to clean it then, and we were told of this when we checked in - but my daughter was welcome to stay in bed as the men serviced the air conditioner unit and cleaned the carpet. I told her that is a little awkward and I wasn’t comfortable with that, and the men likely would not be either, so she said that is my choice and the only option would be to come back to the room in a few hours. When I asked if there was another room available for my daughter to lay down in she said no they are sold out/ I asked again if they could come back later as my daughter is not feeling well and I am paying for a hotel room I can’t use. She then told me I was happy to leave and go find another hotel if my daughter needed to sleep. Of course I was shocked by all of this and asked is there was a manager or someone else to speak to and she said no and then went and asked the next guest what they needed. It’s unfortunate as the rest of the stay was nice. Just frustrating that the front desk employee made it very clear she could care less about the situation.

Hotel Did Not Allow Us to Stay/Awful Front Desk Customer Service Four of us booked one room here for one night, as we were attending a concert in Indy. Upon driving two hours from Cincinnati, we walked in, stated we were there to check in. The front desk person’s response: “We don’t have any rooms.” My husband says, oh no, we have a reservation. She says, like I said we don’t have any rooms, and just stares at us. After asking why, she states that they had a plumbing issue and have no more rooms. I asked why we were not contacted and she said they don’t have any contact information for reservations (can’t imagine that’s true). She said we could call for a refund and there was a different hotel down the street (not related to Sonesta), that probably had available rooms and we could try there. This option was twice as expensive. No other solution was given, no apology at all, nothing. Just a simple: no room for you.” Unbelievably horrible customer service, will never book with them again. Couldn’t have been handled any worse. Two hours away from home and no sympathy at all. We have requested to speak to a manager and have heard nothing. And based on the generic copy and paste response from the “GM” accounts below, in response to multiple poor reviews, assuming we will receive nothing from the hotel. Don’t book here!

Avoid this hotel…book somewhere else! Avoid this hotel!!! The service is poor at best. No one even attending the breakfast or bar. Hot tub was broken. The hotel decided to perform steam cleaning during a time when the hotel was fully booked. No warning at time of booking and they pester the heck out of you. No room cleaning during nearly a week stay. Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

Not a happy camper After driving 11 hours through construction and fighting trucks, I was greeted at the front desk: 'I need to see your ID.' No good evening, thanks for your business, etc. When we got to our room, it was not as expected...very small, not clean, a bath towel had been used to clean shoes, the breads-read was dirty, and the pull out sofa bed was like a board with a bar down the middle; therefore, NO comfort. We planned to watch the CWS and Olympic trials. Friday night NO tv OR internet. Saturday, they did restore internet. Sunday we were ready to get the hell out, so checked out a day early. Now, trying to get a refund from some foreign speaking dude is like ****ing up a rope. If you stay here, don't say you weren't warned.

Go somewhere else! I am in my seventies and have been to many many hotels. This is one of my worst experiences: *We had two queen beds. The linens on one were dirty. The best the front desk could do was to hand me clean linens. I had to change them myself. I requested a different room and was told there was not one available. *The hotel personnel - each of the five I interacted with - were unfriendly and seemed very bored and put out by any questions. No one smiled. *The website says there is breakfast in their Commons room. At check in we were told that included bagels. Breakfast opened at 7; I arrived at 7 15. No bagels. Toaster and cream cheese but no bagels. Not much of anything to be honest. Other travelers were in and out saying how bad it was. It would not even qualify as a Continental breakfast. *The bathroom floor was dirty and the shower drain was clogged. * The hot tub is roped off and not working. *A sign by the pool actually says "No playing". What? This was a very disappointing hotel stay. The one positive was the coffee served was from Starbucks and was good.
