Don't Pay For The Worst Free Breakfast Ever! DON'T BE SUCKERED INTO PAYING $15+ FOR A CRAPPY BREAKFAST!! They appear to have a free breakfast like every other similar hotel. Honestly my first thought was, "this is a pretty poor breakfast compared to others I've had at hotels". No waffle maker, not a lot of fruit. I get some runny eggs, some greasy bacon, and some pineapple and I'm sitting there eating and I'm presented a check for the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. REALLY??? No signs anywhere indicating this wasn't the normal free breakfast. Will never stay there again.

Have stayed at better...Have stayed at worse. Room was very dark with very little lighting. Microwave would not work properly. Door to the room did not lock properly. Upon checkout the clerk did not ask how my stay was but I let her know about the microwave and she proceeded to tell me I was wrong. I just wasn't pushing the button correctly. No do not disturb signs and housekeeping knocked on door at 9:00 am on Sunday morning even though checkout was not until noon. Room was clean. Coffee provided in room. No free breakfast. Paid $5 for parking, don’t know why. They put a $20 hold on card in case you bought something from food pantry. Will choose somewhere else next time we are in the area.

Room fine - staff great Front staff greeted every time you walked in or out. Fitness room was very clean & had nice equipment and a variety of apparatus. Damon, wait staff at breakfast, was engaging, helpful & fun to talk to. Room on 5th floor was really quiet. Would definitely come again

Interestingly Different - It's tired but its fun to stay. We stayed here for 4 days in May. I have always wanted to stay here, but could never get a reservation so stayed at other local hotels. This year an opportunity came up and I managed to get a booking during this very busy period. When we arrived we had to step over broken floor tiles in the foyer and humps in the entry foyer carpet due to stretching. However, this aside the greeting by the fantastic staff made us very welcome. Our room was on a high floor looking out the rear side of the hotel, and was very comfortable indeed. We had breakfast downstairs each day and the food and service was terrific. During the stay overnight on the first evening the entire foyer was transformed into race goers paradise and the entire staff were well and truely into the Indy500 spirit. This hotel is handy to a couple of restaurants - which were in walking distance but there are many more within a short drive. In my humble opinion Yes with some minor service work this Hotel could be visibly improved - but for the price we were paying during a very busy period, we were more than happy to overlook these minor issues. There is criticism on some reviews about the $5.00 per night parking charge - we stayed for 4 nights and were not charged at all, and neither were a couple of other travellers we spoke to. They have a very good evening bar service and a nice outdoor area attached to the hotel if you want to socialise outside. Would I stay here again? Most definitely. Credit to the staff.
