This place has cockroaches, they don’t clean the rooms unless you specifically ask them and they DONT HAVE CLEAN TOWELS Dirty, old, smell like dogs, indian staff doesn’t understand anything. Requested towels and they said “we don’t have any”. I stayed here before but now I regret my decision. Cheap and crappy. Never again. You don’t even get what you paid for

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place was absolutely disgusting. DO NOT stay here. The door was broken (lock had been busted off), and the bottom had been ripped off. The room had not been cleaned.... disgusting. The linens were stained and threadbare. The mattress was a broken down 6 inch spring mattress. There were various rips and gouges throughout the room. The toilet would not flush and the shower was stained and dirty. In a blatant safety violation, the fire alarm had been completely taken off the wall.

Would not stay here again I verified the pet policy online before booking/have screen shot. They will take 2 pets no fee. Checkin i was told the 2nd pet was $10 per night. Lobby signs state pets stay free. I get to room-multiple stains on bed spread, repaired holes in walls but not painted, missing section of laminate floor, no plate on electrical outlet, large hole below mirror above bath sink, faucet not cleaned and counter had toothpaste residue, along with no way to take a bath (no stopper, rusted drain and brown corners were grout is missing between wall and tub), and hand towel stained. I moved to the RR that i usually stay in on the south end the next day. If i were to rate this location i would give it 1.5 out of 5. Still waiting for refund of my $50 deposit. I am an easy sleeper but this location is next to a major hwy and its super noisy. I took photos of everything. The staff i dealt with were apologetic. I did take photos of everything just in case.

Please see above. 1. Trash and box springs in the breezway. 2. Stains on the sheets and comforter. 3. Stains in the toilet and bathtub. 4. Manager very, very rude; became defensive when I advised his property was atrocious. 5. He was argumentative and stated I was not a guest. he furthe stated to not stay here. 6. I would advise everyone to not stay at this property. There are many other choices right down Michigan Road. 7. I have NEVER had an experience, like this.

Nope! As a Redi Rewards member, I stay at Red Roof 2-3 times a year while traveling from Virginia to Chicago to visit family. My two dogs travel with me, so RR has been great. This year, a storm delayed my travel. With temperatures at -25°, I checked in expecting a warm room. The heat was turned off! I turned it on expecting the room to warm quickly as my experience at other locations told me that the heater can turn the room into a sauna. I called the front desk to inquire and was told I “just had to wait for it to warm up.” Two hours later, it’s still cold. Call again and ask for a new room. The heat is also off. I crank it up and burrow under the covers with my canine heaters and wait…maybe the room will be warm by the time I checkout in the morning. On top of that, the TV cut in and out, the remote needed new batteries, if you could get them to stay in the remote. The hair dryer didn’t work, which considering how cold it was in the room, I was not looking forward to sleeping with wet hair. The water was warm…maybe I should’ve slept in the shower.
