End of school year relaxation Wanted warm weather and relaxation for my end of the school year trip. I got it!! I loved the lazy river! The grills were cleaned each morning. The lazy river has a River walk first thing every morning. The life guards were great. I'm glad they keep an eye on unused tubes when people are waiting to float. The unit was clean and location was perfect.

A bit disappointed Upon arrival, customer service was amazing. Our room was ready and we settled in. After arriving couple hours into arrival, we noticed Cheerios all over the carpet on the side of the couch. So we picked them up. The next morning, there was absolutely no hot water in the kitchen sink, and the kitchen floor was sticky all over in front of the island (like something had spilled and not been cleaned up). As I prepared breakfast, I stated pulling dishes out of the cabinet and the two top dishes had food particles stuck on them (looked like eggs and something green). I got down to the last plate and pulled it out. It was completely loaded with what looked like bacon grease. Needless to say, we were very disgusted. Also, had to have maintenance come to the room as our remote wasn’t working and it needed batteries. The next night, I still couldn’t get the tv to turn on and called maintenance again and, come to find out, we had an old remote that wasn’t comparable with the television and had to have it replaced. It was frustrating on many levels.
The guests above our room kept us up all night until 4 am every single morning. After 3 nights of no sleep, I co texted the front desk and asked them to kindly ask the guests above to shut the craziness down by 1 am. For whatever reason, the noise continued and I went 5 days with the worst sleep I’ve ever had at a resort. And I tried napping during the day, but it was just constant noise from upstairs.
We have stayed at this resort many times over the past 10 years. It had become a travel destination for us. We have never experienced anything like this.
On our second to last day, we visited the lazy river. Caleb was the lifeguard on duty. Now, we’ve been going to the lazy river at least twice a day since arriving. We had a wonderful experience with the staff on duty. We appreciated all of the newly implemented rules and it was truly relaxing. However, the morning Caleb was on duty (fist time never saw him all week), he was allowing kids to swim with goggles, splash everyone, race by everyone and knocking into them and then wouldn’t allow any adults to use the raft that you sit in versus the round raft. I basically had to give him a rundown of my health history just to get a raft out of the storage unit so that I could be more comfortable. I felt it was a violation of my privacy and that I had to explain myself, not only to him, but in front of of other guests. It was embarrassing.

Very Nice Resort in the desert Went in June, which meant the weather was very hot. Very nice location and amenities on site. Lazy river was very nice and there were plenty of natural gas BBQ's for us to use. Room was very spacious. Only downfall of the room was the proximity of the island to the fridge door (could not fully open the fridge door due to location of central island). Pools were nice but lots of families there at the same time which meant very loud kids at all times, which is fine but a little tiring at times. Maybe an adults only pool would be good but small item. Needed to call maintenance for a dishwasher issue and they came to fix it right away and were very pleasant. Overall we really enjoyed this resort and would recommend.........for months other than June to September (too hot for me).

Warning RCI Members - Expect $ Overcharging on the Daily Resort Fee at this location! We checked in on a Friday, the check-in process was fast and friendly. We received our requested building and floor which is great. Our room is wonderful, exactly as described and is very spacious with a large living space and a full kitchen _. Plus the Lazy River is amazing and I highly recommend checking it out. :)
_Warning RCI Members_: The published Mandatory occupancy tax (Resort) fee on the RCI site is listed as $9-$11 (daily depending on room size, 1 to 3 bedrooms) for Club Wyndham Indio. However, Club Wyndham/WorldMark incorrectly over charges $12.61 per night (7 nights) for a 1 bedroom (instead of $9.22). Instead of taking responsibility and correcting the overcharge, Club Wyndham/WorldMark blamed RCI and didn't honor their RCI listing. Based on this I subtracted 2 stars from Club Wyndham/WorldMark's overall rating to reflect my negative experience and first impression dealing with Club Wyndham/WorldMark. ☹️
5-24-25 Update: Added screenshot from RCI site showing that the Club Wyndham Indio listing still hasn't been corrected. _
