Very good value for money! A nice and cozy family hotel In the middle of a residential area in Ingolstadt. Clean and fresh rooms, functional and spacious baths, nice and friendly staff, a pool and even a small gym. Gym could easily be upgraded with some bumbells and a bench - just a top for the owners. Cozy padeo and ok breakfast that was included. Low price so very good bang for the buck. Consider this if you need a good night's sleep while driving on Autobahn.

Överskattat hotel We where traveling through Germany and needed a place to stay for the night. The hotel looked nice on the pictures and also did in real life, but I have never been treated so bad in a reception as when we checked in, the woman did not look us in the eyes, did not listen to our questions and seemed annoyed that we where there. The food in the restaurant was good but we got the same bad treatment by the same woman when we wanted to order. This was a very hot day 28 degrees, our room had no air conditioning, not even ventilation! The high standard of service(and friendliness) you expect at a hotel did we get at breakfast, the woman serving us was nice and very helpful. I don't recommend this hotel.

Hotel with character This is a warm and friendly hotel with excellent food and staff. I will recommend it for your stay in ingolstadt, the hotel is within walking distance from the centre of this lovely city on the river Donau. I made my visit for the Xmas market and loved my time there.

Quality accommodation Stayed here in June. Really good accommodation. Very clean. Good condition. Really nice staff. Great restaurant with excellent selection of food. Food very good . Good selection of beers at good prices. Location is a bit out the city. Could do with some rooms with air conditioning for the hot summer months. Definitely recommended.

Recommendation: if possible, avoid Pluses: Good location, quiet area, free parking, helpful staff (not the oweners!). Minuses: cheap breakfast, yes, there's a lot of to choose from, but hier are displayed the most cheap food you can buy in supermarkets; coffee was although good; the pool is unusable after my standards: in august the water in it was the entire day very cold (the pool is shadowed by the surrounding buildings the while day) and it is totally unuseful for small chikdren, beeing very deep (and this is however a family hotel!) ; the most terrible aspect are the owner (the old lady), I could see this quite from the beginning, it was like we've stepped on her foot when we entered the hotel, she looked like having guests in hotel was distrubing her in some manner(!); worth to mention: if your are quite careful how and what you've booked, they will try to trick you to pay something more (I heard twice a discussion between owner and two different while having breakfast, they were amazed that they had to pay more as what they thought the rooms were costing) ; and, at the checkout, it happened also to us: I know I had a fixed amount to pay for 5 nights, but they asked 175 Euro more! (we had to change the room the last 3 nights, because the sink was broken are there was coming a terrible smell in the room; we accepted these conditions for 2 nights, but than I complained and the old lady said there is no way they could fix the problem during the week, the only options were to check out or accept; fortunately, the staff was friendly and they gave us a better room with exactly he same price; except that at tbe checkout, the owner wanted more money!) In the end, they had to accept that when they make an offer, they should keep their word, not changing it as they wish, also when a problem arises, the guest should have to suffer...
