Hotel Does Not Adhere to its Policies On May 29th, I checked into this Courtyard and was very disturbed by the poor treatment and service. I checked in after 11:00 p.m. The regular night person was training a new employee. I did not mind this so much but it took about 15 if not more minutes. What disturbed me was an incident that followed during the check in process. As they were trying to check me in, another person came to the desk to check in. The clerk at the desk explained he would help him after he was finished with me. That was fine. The gentleman barely stepped back or away from the desk. Now there is a HUGE sign at the check in desk stating to social distance 6 feet. Feeling uncomfortable, I asked the gentleman to step back 6ft. He refused stating that they have proven it doesn’t work. A bit of an argument ensued. The front desk clerks at no point intervene. However, another employee who said his name was Julio did intervene first by threatening to cancel both of our reservations. I shared with him my discomfort with the gentleman not willing to adhere to their social distancing policy. I asked him up front to have him honor it. Julio refused to do so. This was prior to the reopening of all tier levels. My problem with the situation is that Marriott has policies that it does not enforce. If you are NOT going to enforce a written policy that is boldly posted on your front desk area and throughout your literature, then you should not post it at all. There are people who attend your hotels expecting that you are following through with what you have stated.

The worst!!! 30 years of business travel and this property has got to be one of the worst. How it's possible to screw a basic Courtyard model I will never understand? The staff here as a whole, but more the females have such low IQ and lack basic ability to perform their basic job functions. They have had very little training and zero ability to provide the most basic customer service tasks needed. You need to call 6 times to get towels etc. They love Covid and use it as an excuse not to have to work and do their jobs. Almost no one is staying at the property so you see the staff sitting around talking a lot with each other or on their phones. No room cleaning the week I was there, no food, and to get clean towels or the wifi to work is multiple calls and waiting 5-6 minutes for the front desk to answer. The manager of the property is never there and is obviously very comfortable with her job security. Michelle a front desk manager who I had the unfortunate experience to deal with had such poor people skills and is obviously so stressed by life and told me she is having to take care of her ailing parents she forgets to shower or brush her teeth. Her personal hygiene was actually worse than her non-exisent hospitality skills. It's hard to believe this is a Marriott property. Nothing works correctly and good luck getting anything fixed. Avoid this dumpster fire if you are looking for a basic Marriott Courtyard experiance.

Lovely Courtyard - great for business stay Beds were comfy, cafe served good food and drinks promptly. Lovely sitting by the fire after a long day work with my colleagues. The rooms could use a little updating (swap out the old carpeting for laminate or something) but as a whole, it's a great hotel. Would stay again.

Courtyard is consistent Stayed here on a business trip. I liked the ... courtyard ... in the center of the hotel; it was a good place to sit outside, and the fire pit was enjoyable. They were able to accommodate my early check in. I was not thrilled with the first floor room though; it felt like I was sleeping too close to the sidewalk. I actually booked this hotel in error; my colleagues were at the other Courtyard by the airport.
