Superb Customer Service and Location I am giving a 5-star rating to this hotel because of its its superb team of staff and the convenient location. We recently stayed in a two-bedroom suite for two weeks. The help we received from the hotel staff made our trip successful and pleasant. I must name two of the employees who went the extra mile to help. The first one was Cody Emerson. One day I tried to print a document using the public computer and printer, the printer got jammed I asked Cody for help and he showed great patience and dexterity to remove the jammed paper to make sure it worked. I was grateful for what he did. Another employee I appreciate is Ngan Le. When I tried to print another doc, the computer in the lobby was down. After a failed attempt to restart, Ngan asked me to send it to her email and among all the tasks she was juggling with, she managed to print my doc which was very important for me. Besides great customer service, this hotel’s location is convenient. It is located right by an entrance to I-405, and at the junction of Main and Jamboree, which is an artery of Orange County. It would be nice if there was a Starbucks within walking distance. The rooms may need an uplift as signs of wear and tear are seen. The chairs are old and not comfortable to sit on, but hey, nothing is perfect. Most importantly, we got our mission accomplished during of our stay. Thanks!

Excellent Overall -Newest Residence Inn ever stayed at! The Best! My husband was totally impressed with this hotel and he is picky. Although, I don't write that much hotel reviews (review 2% of hotels stayed at only.) Since my husband was so grateful that I made reservations here and he loved it I thought I must write a excellent review. Of course, my family and I was all impressed too. First of all, as I checked in our family the front desk personnel was exceptional outstanding. Three of the front desk personnel all greeted us and said hello to us even if only one of them was checking us out. I asked if they had a porter but they said they had a cart. She even brought it to us...and came around the front desk and went to get the cart so we could take our luggage to our room. This was one of the best check in services we have ever had. We reserved a two bedroom suite and it was totally amazing. So perfect ...great beds, sofa, kitchenette and 3 large TV's...top of the line and new! I believe this must be a newer hotel since everything looked new and nothing was worn out. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. They have even cooked sausages! The coffee is great too. Most of the the buffet staff was friendly...please don't be stingy and tip them. We left a $5.00 tip on the table. They work hard and I don't see anyone tipping them. After all, the buffet is free (although we pay for the rooms most hotels don't supply free breakfast) and the cost of the hotel is reasonable compared to others nearby. We bought a cooler to our room even if we had a room with a refrigerator. They supplied us with a large bag of ice (free too.) Everyone was so, so, so nice! The pool is great for a relaxing end of the day exercise, do a few laps. Also, nearby next to the hotel there is two great restaurants where you can either dine in or take the food back to your room. We have a wonderful time and will surely be back at this hotel soon!!!

Reviewing as elite rewards member As an elite status rewards member, never getting an upgrade here was always disappointing however including during covid when the hotel is not near capacity was an insult. Being in a room on second floor directly next to check in on a 6 day stay being awoken all hours of the night by people and cars directly outside of the window told me just how much they appreciated my multiple stays here (with never a complaint). So be warned... elite status means nothing here. Also be warned not sure how covid-19 clean? As to the hotel itself... not sure about cleanliness however I was able to write COVID-19 on top of the fridge with my finger in the dust. Does this seem covid clean? Also a sanitizer dispenser in the main lobby was empty for 2 days and I brought it to the attention of the front staff a few feet away. Enforcement of mask policy unsure however watched someone working out in the gym without a mask... so we were not going to set foot in there. The bed- zero out of 5 stars.. a depression in the middle so you roll to the center if a side sleeper. This used to be a go-to property however moving forward will be on bottom of the list. I like the Marriott brand quite a lot, however not sure this property lives up to the brand promise imho. The room itself feeling a bit tired... broken cabinet door, coffee maker, popcorn ceilings...showing its age. Ps- while it deserves a one star, am giving it a 2 given it’s tough times these days so it’s an additional ‘benefit of the doubt’ star. There are obviously some people working very hard to make this work and I give all those folks credit and blessings. Also calling out that room service to provide refresh of coffee etc was very quick and friendly!

Clean, comfortable stay Have stayed here a few times the past year and it is always consistent - clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is very good since it is close to the 405 and to a variety of food and shopping. The staff here are very courteous and professional. Cody Emerson at the front desk always does a fantastic job.

surprised after reading all the poor reviews, I was prepared for a ruff stay. I was surprised to find that we encountered no of the issues pointed out below. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel in general and our room was spotless and in working order. Breakfast what the standard Residence Inn fare, hot, fresh, with enough to go around, lots of seating and dishes too. All in All a very nice say and I would return.
