Will not recommend Check-in was bad - we reserved a King room and was told they were "upgrading" us to two queen. So instead of a couple in a king bed we were a couple in a queen bed. So it was a downgrade. Water leak in the ceiling in the bathroom with mold on the ceiling. Other deferred maintenance including bad door knob to the bathroom door (half falling off).

Nice place to stay, clean, nice breakfast My overall experience was very nice. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. It was clean and I felt like I was in a safe environment.

Great Stay I had a lovely stay for my birthday. The room was clean and quiet. I absolutely loved the jacuzzi tub! Amazing stay!

Unfriendly staff Me and my family had a good stay up until our last 2 days first was during breakfast I was told that my girlfriends youngest son was yelled at by one the breakfast staff for not having shoes on in the breakfast area but what it was he asked him first didn’t give him time to get room key from his momma then he proceeded to yell at him and embarrass him making him cry in front of a room full of people totally uncalled for then the next day my lady was at pool with her Stanley cup she’s had everyday there spill proof cup a housekeeper come out there and didn’t speak to her nicely she just yelled at her about it my lady has health issues and needs to keep drink around her the only good nice worker was the morning front desk guy he was very nice apologized on both instances very unhappy with the stay cause of those 2 workers she didn’t spend all the money she spent on the 2 rooms to be ruined on last 2 days

Horrible Experience I had the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel at this Baymont. My son plays travel baseball, so we spend a lot of weekends in hotels with other families from our baseball team! After a long hot day at the baseball field we did what we do ALOT of times and went to the hotel and ordered pizza to eat while watching the boys swim! Well that wasn’t an option here, apparently they don’t allow food or drinks in the pool area! So we all had to eat in the tiny lobby at the front desk! As we were eating and the boys were playing the gentleman at the front desk proceeded to tell us that our kids were not allowed to JUMP in the pool. There is a sign for no diving and that is completely understandable but he said they were not allowed to jump because it splashes water out of the pool! If you are coming to enjoy yourself or have any fun at all I would choose elsewhere! We travel and stay in Jackson quite often for baseball and no one from our team will be back and I will pass along to anyone else I see how we were treated! Other issues: - The smell of weed in the hallways were terrible! - Another parent from our team got her room number mixed up and went to the wrong door and her key opened the door. She walked in the room of a mother and small child! Super scary for all parties involved!!! - A kid on our team walked to the lobby with no shoes on and the front desk got on to him! I have never stayed somewhere with so many rules and constant discipline from a front desk!
