Great quick stay! The hotel was clean. The staff was kind and very helpful, ready to make quick suggestions of where to grab forgotten necessities and recommendations of great places to eat. The pool was nice. We enjoyed a hot breakfast both mornings we were there. We would stay here again. FYI: there is a parking fee.

Room 304 strong MOLD smell coming out of AC everytime it kicked on. Recent 2day stay for Mother’s Day weekend. The room was comfortable until the AC kicked in and it immediately let out a molded smell which lingered until the AC stopped blowing. The smell would disappear but when the AC kicked on again, that strong smell of mold came blowing out the AC. The room itself did not s of mold, just came from the AC unit. There is a strong odor when right before elevator area when you first com in the hotel. It was there everytime we passed that area. The staff was good and helpful. The food was great. I enjoyed the proximity to the beach. I am not sure if the mold coming from the AC was just in my room or every room but it needs to get fixed

Great Beach Hotel We visited St, Augustine for a few days and decided to spend a few days at Jacksonville Beach. Randomly chose the Hampton after considering Margarita vile, the Sheraton and a few more. Could not have been more satisfied with the choice. We walked in without a reservation and the gentleman working the front desk greeted us and gave us keys to an ocean front room at noon even though checkin was 3:00. We were able to enjoy a great day at their pool which is extremely large compared to others we had seen. They have a nice beach restaurant on property and a inside bar in the evening. Rooms are nothing exceptional but very nice and clean. No safe in the room which would be my only recommendation. Nice hot breakfast offered each morning with many choices. Beach is beautiful in front on this hotel. Property is walking distance to the pier and many bars and restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Girl's Get Away!! This was a combination Girl's Get Away & surgical procedure at the Mayo Clinic. We loved this location because of its convenience to Mayo, Atlantic Beach & Neptune Beach. Our room was very comfortable with a Beautiful view of the pool & beach. The Staff always greeted us with a smile & went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay at the Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront anytime we're in town.

Bring towels and a rubber bathmat! Ocean view room with balcony was awesome. Pool is huge and attractive. Linens need updated and towels were like sandpaper. I’ll return with my own towels. Also needed a rubber nonslip mat in bathtub as surface of tub is extra slippery. Since I slid in the tub I requested a rubber bath mat tub but was told they didn’t have rubber bath mats at the hotel. Stated that hold bars were sufficient for safety. REALLY???
