A Dump Not Worth Your Time or Money The worst experience of my life. We pulled in for check in and the parking lot was full of law enforcement with sections taped off. We get into the office and was told it was a domestic disturbance. We check into one room that was totally filthy, sink faucet not even secure, bathtub with mold. We asked for another room that was already renovated and was taken to two other rooms that were just as disgusting. We chose one room but left to get something to eat (it was 10 at night). A police officer lifted the tape to let us out (by now the entire parking lot is taped off) and told us to find something to do for several hours as it was an active investigation and he did not know when we could return. Called the front desk guy and told him we were not returning and we drove up the road to a much better hotel. I read some reviews later about theft and other criminal activity at this hotel. Don't waste your time or money on this dump.

Needed Much Work ~ Franchise Needs to Review The lobby looked clean and inviting, and that's where it all ended. The room had a musty smell and although they started some upgrades, they failed to continue. The bathroom vanity was upgraded and the carpet looked good, but there was mold damage on the wall behind the entrance door. The other issues were the bathtub was old and the walls were painted to look like it was new. The tv remote was so old and faded you could barely read the display but it didn't matter as the remote didn't work at all with the tv. A big issue was the slide bolt lock for the door was missing which was very uncomfortable for me traveling alone. I had to put a chair in front of the door for safety and did not sleep very well due to being concerned. Shame on them for using a Quality Inn flag as this is not the "quality" that is standard for this brand. Pictures attached.

Would not stay again unless cleaned up! We were on our way home and choose this based on average reviews, just needed a place for overnight without robbing the bank! We have not done a road trip in several years, and what I found, Florida average hotels are not up to standards at all off interstates! I live in Florida, and I will say, the hotels in many cases are ripoffs for what you get! True, we have been open more after Covid, but they definitely are not cleaned to that protocol! The outside looked fine in front, shrubs etc. trimmed. The pool area looked good, these are the positives. The bed seemed newer and was comfortable. Now negatives, staff not friendly, room was nasty dirty, used wet wipes to clean off counters etc. The floor in bath area had not been mopped in who knows when!? Your shoes stuck to it, gross! Then the carpet was so dirty, my husband’s feet were black as well as bottom of my shoes! He just finished cleaning our shoes when we got home! The toilet ran all night, yes, told desk person in a.m. This hotel is used a lot for construction workers so it seems, as they hang out drinking & smoking on staircases after work. Also, seems to be some long term clients that have dog running loose, tried to get in our room when we opened the door?! Walls are thin, you can listen to Rap music! Also, need to take off web free breakfast and there is no vending machine. With TLC, this hotel could be brought up to standards & is a better choice than the other 2 at this interchange. The location is good with plenty of restaurants and shopping plaza, all seems pretty new. Clean it up and get rid of the rif raf!

Old Hotel I am usually pretty easy on Hotels, but I must say this hotel looked nice outside but was pretty old inside. Looks like they had a red-do a number of years ago and did it on the cheap. Upgraded to the King Bed with pool view, sorry I did. All the metal items in the room had oxidation and rust including the Clothes rack, mirror, lights etc etc. The ceiling had multi diffrent kinds of coatings some was knock down and then around lights and drapes still had popcorn ceiling was just weird. The Artwork was hanging like an inch from the ceiling??? The Light up large mirror was hung very high in the bathroom (my wife is a little short) nothing seemed right? Like I said it looked like they attempted a remodel some time ago on the cheap. Room had no remote, no channel guide etc etc. To be honest I was surprised this hotel still had the Quality Inn Franchise License. I have never been let down by Quality Inn before this trip. I have no problem with old Hotels I stayed at a Quality Inn at Tampa that was built in the early 1970s and it was great; but this looked old, which would have been o.k. but I paid close to 100.00 dollars a night and just do not think it was worth it. Could have stayed next door at Motel 6 and I am sure it would have been just as nice or nicer. Would not stay here again. With all that said Location was good and they did have ample parking.
