Bathroom was over run with very long, very black hairs and the used washcloth was not a welcome sight. In order to review a Choice hotel, an online survey is sent after a stay is completed. I have not received my online survey yet (stayed for one night (March 25, 2024) so that I can directly review this hotel. This is the next best place to review this hotel. I had a 2 queen bed suite...the cushions on the sofa in the room were so compressed it was almost like sitting on the floor. The bathroom had a lot of very long, very black hairs wrapped around the cord of the hairdryer and there were many of the same type of very long, very black hairs on the back of the bathroom door. More of the same hair was on the bathroom vanity. There was a used dried washcloth draped over the top of the bathroom door. One pillow case had something dark dried on it. On the Choice Hotel website this hotel gets a 4.2/5 rating. Apparently none of those reviewers experienced the disgust that I experienced. I was very glad to check out of that room and out of that hotel.

High rating is undeserved! I was surprised at the high rating for this hotel. The lobby looks like some of it had been recently updated, but the adjoining breakfast area was not very clean and the "regular coffee dispenser" was out of order. That means NO coffee for breakfast or late-night guests. That is inexcusable. Several overhead lights were either out of order or not turned on for the breakfast hours which made the area dark at 7 AM. In general, cleanliness is an issue, even in the guest rooms. Toilet flapper did not seal causing the toilet to run continuously. Mini freezer was so encrusted with thick ice to be unusable. Some of the carpets are stained and wallpaper is peeling off the walls in spots. I will say, however, that the king bed was comfortable and the towels and linens were nice. Shower was good as well. I think this property is old and on the downhill slope unless some renovation takes place soon.

Not what we were expecting Well to start off with, it’s really unfortunate considering that my wife and I try to stay within the Choice hotels, and always expected a good stay out of the comfort suites, and this time it was just a huge disappointment. Was full of kids running up and down the hallways. Our room was located right close to the lobby, which means that there were a lot of traffic going in and out of the pool. We are woken up at 5 o’clock each morning with the weight room, which was right next to our bedroom. The room itself was not as impressive as other comfort suites have been. There was a lot of repairs done in the bathroom, and the walls were just putty. It was my wife and I anniversary and we decided to do a staycation choosing this hotel was looking forward to a couple of days of just chilling and unfortunately because the hotel was full of children running up and down the hall starting at 7 o’clock in the morning and we heard them outside our windows and our door all the way up to 11 o’clock at night, honestly we didn’t really get to enjoy the hotel that much we ended up leaving for the day Just honestly a fail. But the top it off, we had brought our dog along, and we knew that there was a dog deposit which we were happy to pay, but they also charged me tax on top of the dog deposit, which has never happened to the 15 years of staying with Choice, or any other hotel for that matter it usually is a flat rate. So to our opinion. It was a waste of points that we have been saving up. And wish we would have stayed at a different hotel.
