Great wolf Lodge trip surpassed expectations. We stayed in May for my daughter's birthday. We accessed all the amenities water park, laser tag, mini golf ECT. Everything was extremely clean. My daughter loves having her birthday here. The only thing that stands out was while checking in. The music that the lobby plays is way to loud I had to raise my voice for the sweet ladies at reception. Kathryn and Rehani were wonderful at the desk it just is way to loud in the lobby with the music to try and check in. I had a hard time hearing what they were saying and vice versa. Other than the music in the lobby it was a wonderful time. Thank you all

I wouldn't go back just because of the customer service. We arrived on Friday the 27th (June), got checked into our room by a very kind girl who was so pleased to see us. I wish I had gotten her name because she was the only one throughout the whole weekend who was ready to help, with a smile on her face. None of the iPad's were working so we all had to wait about 30 minutes in line, not terrible. We go to get our food and fun passes and fill our drink cups and there is one place to fill the drinks. This place was called Bear Paw and was only open 630 to 10 pm. There are no water fill stations or drink places that serve after 10 pm. On Saturday we went to fill our cups again at Bear Paw and the line was out the door, I asked the lady working behind the counter if there was anywhere else to get water and she instructed me to go to the bar. I went to the bar and very nicely asked the bartender to fill my water cups. When I walked up, he wasn't doing anything but cleaning glasses with a cloth. He then said "Who sent you here, Rachel from Bear Paw? Shes not supposed to be sending anyone over here", Then the bartender proceeds to get another team member to go and check on why she had told me it was okay to come to him for water. He filled my cups with a serious attitude, and I left. Every corner we turned there was an employee speaking very badly about another employee. The hostess at Camp critter sat us at a dirty table, never came back to wipe it off and it took 45 minutes to get our server to bring us water cups and there were about 5 tables in the whole restaurant. While eating at Camp Critter again on Saturday, I went to fill my soda cup from the fountain and the nozzles had been removed, but there was no sign stating it was closed. Again, our waitress was not attentive and seemed like it was an inconvenience that we were even dining in there. It was either a ghost town, meaning everything was locked and no workers were present, or if they were present, they looked miserable. We were so excited to take our whole family here (9 people) and spent quite a lot of money. The indoor water slides were a ton of fun; however, the workers were all in a bad mood and very rude. It definitely was not an environment that I will be taking my family to again.

Okay for Rare Occasions My biggest concerns reading the reviews....but luckily our room was clean and the employees were friendly! That was refreshing! The staff was kind and waved to our kids and I seen managers overseeing the property as well. On the other hand, I was less than impressed with an extra $15 parking fee on top of the already very pricey stay, this seems absurd. There was nothing special about the parking lot or where you chose to park even NASCAR was free parking!! We had been once before 5 yrs prior and knew about the no breakfast included as well so we were prepared but that also seems lacking in the expense of the stay you should receive some sort of complementary breakfast option but 5 yrs and no change, I can only assume parking and breakfast will not be the only additional expenses down the road for this franchise.

Dirty, run down, untrustworthy location. Stay somewhere else. The lodge is run down. The door into our hotel room could be pushed open without using the key card because the wood was so warped. Outlets in the room were unusable because they were no longer securely attached to the wall. The room was surface clean upon first look but very dirty with any further inspection- furniture, light fixtures caked with dust. Debris in corners of floor in bathroom. Stained bathtub. Charge $15 to park your car in a spread out, sparsely populated area. Lazy river is a joke. Literally goes in a small circle around itself. No wave pool. Tubes used for the tube slides not inflated properly. Towels are trash, completely falling apart. Worst part of the stay: being charged $60 + tax for 4 pool towels we returned. They use your room # to check the towels OUT but do not have a process to check them back IN other than to drop them in a large “wet towel” bin. I even verified with the person checking towels out that I do not return them to him directly, but place them in a general bin. The following day, I was alerted of a $65 charge to my credit card. If I did not have alerts set up when my credit card was charged without me being present, I never would’ve known about this charge. It’s concerning that I was emailed a final receipt with the room charges, etc. the afternoon after we checked out, but then they charged an additional amount without an email or any notification. When I chatted with somebody with customer service, all she said was that the money had been refunded but gave no explanation as to why it was charged in the first place and no apology. I wonder how many people leave this place and get charged for things like towels without their knowledge. Seems like a very shady operation to me. If you use my room number to check out my towels, then you should use my room number to check them back in. Otherwise, how is a guest supposed to prove that they return their towels? Also if you email me a receipt with the final charges, you should no longer be able to charge my credit card further once I have left the premises and the room has been checked out of. My family has stayed at the great Wolf Lodge in Minneapolis many times and I’ve never been charged for parking nor have we ever been charged for towels. I will not be returning to this location as I question their business practices. Very disappointed that a place that is supposed to be family oriented is not clean with their property or their business practices.
