Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely stay again! This hotel was in a nice area. The staff was helpful. I had an early flight and I was worried Uber wouldn't show up at 4AM. The hotel gave me the name of a cab company to call, and he showed up on time and was really pleasant! WELL DONE Marriott!! I also ate dinner at the resteraunt which was convenient. Not gourmet food but good enough. I was there two nights on business and the beds were super comfortable, the room was clean, it was quiet (except I couldn't figure out how to get the air conditioning unit to turn off) but overall great experience. I was very happy and would absolutely stay here again. If you want to see anything though, you need a car, there isn't much near by. Even the stuff that was walking distance you still had to go up and down a steep hill. Defeiniatel recommend a rental car if you stay here.

good luck even getting a cup of coffee hotel has one person working the Cafe, which means you will wait up to 25 minutes even for a cup of coffee. Many other employees standing around and 2 people at the front desk but only 1 person at the Cafe everyday.

Oversold didn't have a room for reservation This is my second and last try at this location. It's a beautiful place with great curb appeal. This Saturday our reservation was not honored. We arrived late Saturday night to a flustered employee behind the desk. There were no rooms available. We stayed here in 2019 where several cars were broken into. That was no fault of the hotel. It happens. What I wrote back then was how poorly the general manager treated us. She was so intent on protecting the property and reducing the liability, that all customer service and "sorry" was thrown out the door. I want to be clear to the owner of this property and the Courtyard brand. The break in was No Fault of yours. You did nothing wrong and had no liability. How you acted and treated the family was for [insert not nice words]. Same great service and attitude this time when the reservation was not honored.

Nice views and a great stay. This was a really nice stay. The room was set up very nicely for us to have the bed and our 6 year old slept on the sofa bed. There was a huge shower which was really nice. We also indulged in the Starbucks in the lobby. The pool was heated and it is a salt water pool so it was amazing! The hot tub was down for maintenance, so that was a little bummer. The views of the city from the pool were amazing! Tge downside was the parking lot was pretty small so on Saturday night the only parking available was the very edge of the lot with about 5 spots left. However, we really loved this location and the stay.

Rude and Uncourteous Front Desk Clerk We recently stayed for 3 nights in Briarcliff. Upon walking in, the front desk clerk greeted me with your basic greeting and then asked if I had a mask. I proceeded to tell her that I can't wear one. From that point on, any time I approached or attempted to talk to her about something, she was EXTREMELY rude by not making eye contact, talking directly to me, or even answering my question/creating basic conversation. Not ONCE was I thanked for staying at this hotel, even when checking out which I did in person. She said absolutely NOTHING to me. I observed this woman talking freely and politely to others but never once to me. For the money that was spent, it was UNACCEPTABLE. I have had this happen at other places as it has become common for others to attempt to "shame" the non mask wearer. I will NEVER stay at a Marriott again and will encourage my family and friends to do the same. The lady in housekeeping and another gentleman working there were very polite and helpful. Nothing like the front desk. You will continue to lose business based on how you treat people. Those that love to travel and spend their hard earned money will NOT be spending it there. Also, the walls in 216 were so poorly insulated that we could hear water running through the pipes every time it was used. We have video of how loud it was as well. It sounded like it was right in the room with us. For the price of rooms, this was unacceptable as well.
