NASCAR and Baseball in Kansas City Kansas City brought 2 of my favorite pastime together in one weekend, so I just had to attend both. This hotel made my experience at the neighboring Kauffman Stadium very enjoyable. The quick walk to the stadium was an ease. The Sheraton staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable with a wonder view of both stadiums. If I was to come back, I’d absolutely steal here again. __ Those shower dispensers for the soap, shampoo and conditioner were VERY COOL!

Great location across from sporting events, but that’s all We checked in just before 4pm, we were anxious to wash up before walking to the Royals game at 430. Room looked nice. We found out we had no water on. We tried to use the phone to call the desk, but it was missing a cord or something. I got through on my cell phone, and we’re told, “their maintenance work wasn’t completed before check in time, but would be 20 minutes longer before water came back on.” I would have hoped that information would be mentioned by clerk at check in. We used wet wipes to wash up. There’s a crosswalk across busy road to stadium parking lots. There was a parking attendant, before and after game. Police officers located there weren’t very helpful in helping us get across the street safely. One or two people weren’t a higher priority to their conversations waiting for larger groups. We slept well. Breakfast was limited to juice and coffee and toast. Not a very impressive stay

Feels a little dingy My husband and I stayed here when we were in town for a Royals game. The hotel is right across the street from the ballpark, so the location is great. However, the hotel isn’t the best quality. Felt a little dirty and dingy. The staff was really nice and welcoming though, which helped make up for the sub par accommodations.

BLACK MOLD the location is great being across from the stadiums and they know it that's why they do not care. They know they will always have guests. The amount of black mold in our un ventilated bathroom was absurd. You could see where they have painted over it in the past in order to try and cover it up. It looks like they just stopped caring with the amount that is there now. The bed had a big stain on the blanket so I threw it on the floor and just used the sheets. The air conditioner outside our room sounded like a semi idling outside all night long. I asked two staff members on the first floor where the ice machine was and neither one new. A guest final seen me wandering around and told me it was on the second floor. Upon check out I told the lady at the counter about the mold and she gave me a who gives a sh!t look. I was not rude only trying to help out as I have stayed in alot worse conditions with the Army. The really big let down was we were never told the pool was closed when we booked. My son was crushed as he had been looking forward to swimming before we went to the game. I will never stay here again I will use the Drury Inn across the street. These people just do not care and it's to bad as they have a great location.

Terrible The rooms were terrible. The lighting was terrible. There were no outlets. The beds were lumpy. The floor next to the air conditioner was soaking wet. The only good thing about this hotel is that you can walk across the street to go to the Royals game or the Chiefs game. The location is probably why there is no reason to fix up the hotel. They are constantly full so why invest in the hotel and spend money fixing it up. The staff was nice.
