Comfort Inn Kearney - Liberty

Ok for the night Stayed here for just one night during a long drive. This hotel has a large parking lot out front, Sonic fast food and others nearby. Safe area and very close to interstate highway. Morning breakfast was fine and the coffee was actually good I was surprised. My room was clean and comfortable bed for the night with cold AC which was also very important. Maybe I had a renovated room not sure but I did not have a bad experience

All i can say is wow Upon entering, i knew i made the wrong choice to put my family in a place to sleep. The nasty musty smell. Dirty floors. I shook it off. THE ROOM. ABSOLUTELY HORRID. Makeup on pillow case. Two bugs crawling on the comforter. I wouldnt dare walk with even my socks on, let alone my 1 year old to crawl around on the floor. The smell of body odor/mildew unpleasant to say the least. I felt like i needed to shower after leaving. Checked in and out within 15 minutes. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Review Worst choice hotel I’ve stayed in by far. I had ants in my room and the trash can was full from whoever stayed before me. Cleaning person didn’t do their job. The carpet had sticky spots where my feet stuck to when I walked. Very disappointed

Very disappointed This was one of the worst Choice properties we've ever stayed in. The hallway and room carpets were filthy--I didn't walk barefoot anywhere except in the bathroom. The upholstery on the ottoman was very frayed. However, one front desk staff member was very helpful on check-in: we had a car problem and she gave us names of two auto shops. One of those shops fixed our problem in the morning and refused to take any payment.

Terrible place to stay Almost as soon as we get to this comfort inn we were in our room not even 15 minutes and I had bug bites on my elbow. I thought nothing of it cuz I didn't see when they bit me. I just all of a sudden noticed on my elbow there were bites. The next morning I got up and went into the bathroom and looked in the sink and the whole sink was just black there were that many bugs in that sink they were coming out of the hole in that sink like wildfire. And I noticed I had more bites on both my arms when I got up. Okay so we talked to the guy at the desk and there was nothing he could do he couldn't give us our money back because we went through a third party which is a lie he could have given us our money back because at the next comfort inn we asked and they told us yes he could have done something to give us our money back. He said they had been working on this problem with for these bugs for a while. Then I looked up some of the views and somebody had a little boy that had gotten bit up by these bugs. And because we are on a trip I had to call my doctor and ask him what I could do for these bites. he told me that bugs down south are a lot more aggressive than the mosquitoes or anything we have in our state of Minnesota. So I got medicine and on the trip. Those bites were on my arms and didn't go away for a month and a half. I would not recommend this place to anybody.
