Overnight stop on way to Turkey Run State Park This place was very nice! Clean, quiet, safe area, extremely friendly staff & there was no extra fee for our dog. That is rare & much appreciated. I would definitely stay there again when going that way. I highly recommend it.

Horrendous Worst hotel you could ever ask for. Got 2 suites and they were disgusting. The pictures are not of the hotel for sure. Wall paper falling down, cracks in the sinks and walls, the whirlpool tubs are rusted, the hotel in general stinks. Staff are uneducated, and illiterate. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The most disgusting hotel you could ask for. I practically live in hotels for work purposes and I'll never stay at this franchise ever again. Needs to be condemned. Used the bathroom and ended up with venirial diseases.

Stay far far away from this place. I posted this on the hotel's website reviews and they erased it so I have to post it here to warn everybody. Stayed there while passing through town on October 12th. Express to the girl at the front desk that I had a bad experience with a hotel 2 nights prior and asked if I could look at the room first and she agreed and seemed sympathetic. And that's the key word SEEMED sympathetic. Checked in around 7 and went to the room and settled in. Around 10 p.m. the door to the room next door started slamming about every 30 seconds and it's slam so hard it shook the room. At about 10:30 I had had enough and when the door slammed I looked out the room door and saw a young man walking to the far end of the hallway and into another room. He then proceeded to peek around the corner of the room doorway looking down the hallway my direction. I walk down the hall to see what was going on and lo and behold the girl from the front desk was in the room cleaning it. When she saw me she asked what was up and I asked her what was up with the slamming doors and she proceeded to blame it on a woman with her kids which I knew was not the truth. And it only gets better from here. I went back to my room my girlfriend and I proceeded to try to get some sleep and it was relatively quiet until 2 a.m. when the door slamming started again. I went out into the hallway and waited for the young man to come out of the room what she did with in a matter of seconds. I told the young man the slamming of the doors needed to stop and he proceeded to get mouthy with me. It was then at this time the door opened and low and behold the girl from the front desk was in the room. She asked me what was up and I couldn't believe it I told her the door slamming needed to stop and at this time her tattoo faced boy freak proceeded to get real mouthy with me from a distance of 20 feet away of course they always get mouthy when they get further away. When the door opened and the girl stuck her head out the older that came out of that room only leads me to believe they were doing one thing in there. I went down to the front desk and the girl at the front desk defended her and said she was a paying customer can you believe that. I told the girl at the front desk if it continued I was going to call the sheriff and let him sort it out and after that I didn't hear another noise from the room. The next morning I explained to the front desk what had happened and I wanted my room comped because I got no sleep because of one of their employees and they said no way they wouldn't do it. So I left there to never go back but I did make a stop by the sheriff's department and filled them in on everything which they were very interested in knowing. Mister owner of the Red Roof Inn in Kentland if you read this you need to take a very close look at your employees and what they're doing.

One of the best.... This may well be one of the nicest Red Roof Inns around, and probably the only motel in town. After a weary days travel, we loved it. Be sure to ask about the bar/lounge downtown which serves good food. (Can't remember the name.)

Quiet and comfortable While this hotel is not your 4-5 star property, it is a quiet, clean, and comfortable property. Candace and her colleagues go out of their way to do the best they can. Reasonably priced. We will stay there again when in Kentland.
