Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Nags Head Oceanfront

Overall a good experience Hotel location is great. Right on the beach and close to do much The tiki bar and board walk are nice. Kate the bartender is wonderful. Menue could use more options. Breakfast is for a fee of about $11 but it's ayce. Its a basics breakfast but nice to not have to leave the hotel. This isn't a hotel issue perse but the description on priceline said a beach chair and umbrella came with the room (one reason I picked this hote)l....it's an extra fee, not included and would have been nice if the seasonal dates were included as unlike FL their season doesn't start till Memorial Day for umbrella and chair availability. Had to go buy the chair but store was close. Room could use updating. Bath tub needs refinished and plumbing needs work as toilet overflowed into room. Matinance was right there for the issue but we were totally overlooked by housekeeping as they didn't come until we asked for a third time around 4:30 pm.... they did a half-ass job when they came so you could tell we were a total afterthought which is gross. So just be mindful of the plumbing. Bed was very comfortable. Fitness room was not bad. Didn't really use the pool or hot tub but other did and seemed to enjoy it since it's inside and was still a little chilly at times. Happy to see it's open till 10 nice touch there. Really liked that they gave you Dove body products instead of just the usual no-name hotel toiletries. There were kid books by a local author for purchase in the lobby which was cool to see. You can tell they are trying. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was not a bad experience and it decent hotel for the area I feel like. Very pet friendly too. Would definitely stay again.

Love the Ramada Plaza! Always a great place to stay; been staying there every year for years. Love the pool; the deck is usually a great place to sit and drink coffee in the morning, but this time it was under construction; there always seems to be construction going on.

Anniversary Trip Very comfortable bed and clean room. Lobby area was clean and orderly too. The location is great and staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel restaurant is handy if you don’t feel like going out and the Tiki Bar is dog friendly! I hope to return sometime and if I do, Ramada Plaza will be my top choice!

Best nights sleep! The pillows and mattress were really comfortable! We had a bit of trouble with the a/c being loud, but it was addressed promptly. All the staff, especially Chuck, the maintenance man, were very friendly. I would definitley stay there again.

Incredible stay The absolute best experience ive ever had with a hotel. The staff were so sweet, helpful, and professional, with a smile on their face. Beds were comfy, hotel was CLEAN, pool was the perfect size, hot tub was toasty. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. THANK YOU, we will be back
