Amazing staff, very welcoming, home-y, and safe. The staff was absolutely amazing. I was traveling solo and needed a place to stop and rest and they made me feel so comfortable and safe I definitely will stay here again if I’m in the area. Everything was clean and comfortable. I attempted to go to another hotel in Jasper and it was not inviting at all and I didn’t have a good feeling about staying there. I found this holiday inn, the ladies that were working made me feel safe and at home. I had no worries and am very grateful I came across this hotel. I highly recommend !!

Adequate I stayed here in February 2024 and was impressed. My May 2024 visit, not so much. The bed is nice and shower head great. Breakfast was a giant disappointment. The entire hotel needs a good scrubbing! Starting at the front door carpet. Gross! Elevator carpet also gross and the floor beneath it filthy. Front desk help friendly. No one visible at breakfast to speak to.

Room for improvement The good: location and ease on/off the highway. Recommend dinner at Top Of The Rock, a short drive from the hotel. Solid food, great views and service. The not-so-good: the cleanliness and service. We had a room with 2 queen beds. When I pulled the cover off one of the beds, the fitted sheet looked the way it does when someone had already slept in it. I was taken aback, so I inspected it closely and saw hair and other specs. I brought this up to the front desk attendant’s attention, along with the fact that the elevator and hotel floors were not clean. I was told they had been very busy. When I pointed out that we all get busy, but cleanliness is super important, I was told I could speak to the GM who would be there in the morning. Not a great impression for sure. The following morning, as we were getting ready, I heard a knock on the door and at the same time, a person was entering the room, asking “do you need anything?”. Checkout wasn’t for another hour and 15 minutes. I was in my nightie, and my dog was heading to check out the person in the room. Do not disturb sign was hanging on the door. On the way out, I again tried to communicate the issues to a friendly front desk lady, who again referred me to the GM.

Will come back! Very clean! Bed were comfortable! The staff I had encounters with were excellent, very helpful. They went out of their way to get my grandson some milk for the night. Breakfast was plentiful, very nice selection.

OK experience…. Average stay and a decent nights sleep. I spend over a hundred nights in IHG or Hilton during the year. I’ve stayed at this HI Express before and chose it over the Hampton nearby or fighting traffic in downtown Chatt to drive to this area. Everything seemed clean and the staff were pleasant, but there were little issues this time. 1) TV would not work, 2) rhe AC struggled to lower the room temp when it wasn’t that warm outside, and it was a very noisy unit, 3) someone’s beer was still in the fridge (that could have been a positive on some nights, 4) there is a humidity issue (dehumidifiers running in hallways) and room was slightly musty including pillows, 5) you had to make sure to pull the door shut and jiggle the lock, 6) last is the parking issue which I do remember - ie full of large trucks like mine with a very strange and narrow setup,. I’m not writing them off but may try the Hampton for short stays, and definitely stay downtown for long stays (restaurants and entertainment).
