Dirty balcony I purposely booked a room at the Four Points Sheraton because they had a “balcony “ option . Not only was the balcony beyond tiny a chair wouldn’t fit it was unbelievable dirty, full of dirt and spider webs. Considering how long hotels have been either empty or closed one would expect them to be clean.

Good location, but would not stay here again! I was extremely disappointed with our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Kingston. I am aware that due to Covid, there may be some disruptions, but there were a few things that were handled very poorly. 1) On the website and on our reservation, it shows check in time as 3:00 pm. After travelling all day and arriving around 4:00 pm, the rooms were not available until well after 5:00 pm. 2) We reserved a One Bedroom Junior Suite, with one queen bed and a sofa bed. We had three people in our group and the reason we selected this room is that under room amenities is listed "Rollaway beds permitted: 1". When I asked for this to be provided, I was told that due to safety issues they cannot add rollaway beds to this type of room. I asked the agent at the front desk then why is it listed on the website. They said it wasn't on the website (go look. its there!! and I showed them) and I was given the same reply... I asked for an additional room and I was told it was sold out. We had to sleep two people in the queen bed which was very uncomfortable and i did not have a good rest. 3) We wanted to use the pool, but due to covid restrictions this was by appointment only (in 30 minute intervals). Our room was directly across from the pool and no one was using it. I asked the front desk if they could monitor if those people who signed up for the pool did not show up after 10/15 minutes and then let others use it and they said that there was nothing they could do. 4) For all the issues above, the quality of the facilities and the amenities of the hotel, the amount charged for this place is very excessive. You don't feel at all like you are getting value for the money.

Stay at Delta or Residence Inn instead I’ve used to live in Kingston and now return frequently for business. I’m a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member and us usually stay at the Delta or Residence inn, also located downtown. I thought I’d save a little money and try the Sheraton out over my usual spots, BIG mistake. This hotel is extremely dated and doesn’t look like it’s be update since it opened 20 years ago. The fitness “centre” is laughable, extremely small with a couple of really old treadmills and bikes. The pool is a glorified bathtub that is dingy and gross. The staff are without a doubt the most unprofessional and completely lack any sense of customer service. Do yourself a favour and stay at one of the other Marriott Branded hotels downtown, you’ll be treated much better and experience much higher quality. This hotel is a dive.

Location, location, location! Wonderful location in downtown Kingston. Walking distance to dining and attractions. The room was welcoming and well designed. The beds were definitely in need of upgrade. The parking surcharge seems extreme. Covid protocols are being followed. Please be sure to call ahead to know what facilités are available on site.
