Delta Hotels by Marriott Orlando Celebration

Fabulous Delta! Just returned from our 3rd stay at the Delta and it just gets better and better. Wonderfully clean resort, super comfy beds and excellent housekeeping. The location is perfect and used the resort bus and the Go Lynx public bus into Disney which both only takes 10 minutes to the ticket and transportation centre. This is quicker than the Disney transportation as we resort hopped a couple of times. We bought the Go LynK app which worked out £11.85 for unlimited bus journeys on the route 56 for a weeks travel which gave us a little more freedom to return in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful swimming pools as the resort bus doesn’t run then. The food in the hotel has also become more varied and good but loads of other options easily walkable as we didn’t have a hire car on this trip. Lovely cocktails too! A big shout out to Omar who was kind to helped us repair a suitcase which got damaged on the flight out and an even bigger thank you to Carl who totally went out of his way to make our stay wonderful.

Faultless Loved It In Every Way!! ___ Hotel room key given quickly polite friendly staff. Our room 6215 overlooked the heated outdoor pool and right opposite the hot tub perfect (endless clean free towels to use around the pool) plenty of comfy sunbeds and umbrellas never had to reserve them! Renovated clean modern lovely room with such comfy beds! Room service everyday didn’t expect that! Clean towels, bedding, toilet rolls, free toiletries, air con worked perfectly, huge tv with so much choice including films, full size fridge, coffee making water boiler (wished I’d bought my Yorkshire teabags!) big wardrobe, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, lots of USB sockets so didn’t need adapter plugs! Side lamps, floor to ceiling windows, free parking right outside never a problem parking and location right next to every restaurant you can imagine, Denny’s, chipotle, Chilli’s, steak, ice cream, Chinese, Indian food the list goes on. Great Nike outlet store real bargains! Quick exit on to highway to Universal Studios & Disney 15/20 mins east drive away! Honest could not fault this hotel we are still here and we would definitely stay again it’s been fantastic! Thank you _

Excellent hotel Ive been to Orlando several times on solo trips, and I've always stayed at this wonderful hotel. And the reason is because im always looked after and treated with kindness and respect..All the staff are amazing, in all areas of the hotel. "Carl, Harry, Rudy, and another great manager, name starts with a P, who is so very kind and a true assest to the hotel ) All of them are extremely efficient..The management team made sure that any of my concerns were sorted out immediately!!!. So that is why I stay and return !!!...The hotel is in a wonderful location and close to old town and celebration..Transportation to parks is efficient. Lynx buses stop a short 2 minute walk away...Numerous restaurants close by, and a publix is a short walk away..Pool is beautiful with plenty of sunbeds. Rooms are always cleaned to a high standard. And the pointe restaurant, the café and waves bar are excellent. I had an amazing time and will most definitely return here in the future...

J’Ann is the best J’Ann was amazing. She went above and beyond to insure our rooms was to the best of standards and that we had a great view that we wanted. She even let me use her personal fan while she was doing gods work by adjusting our rooms to make sure we had a time.

Good value for money but comes with its flaws I've just returned from my second stay at this hotel. I previously visited in November 2023 and I gave it a 4 star rating. This time around I'm giving it a lower rating than before. There's pros and cons to staying here so thought I'd list them. Pros: Location - it's literally so close to Disney. A 10-15 minute drive to any of the Disney parks and a further 10 minutes to the universal resort area. Plenty of everyone's favourite restaurants nearby and celebration a short 5 minute drive. I couldn't fault it for that. Pool area - lovely pool area for the price of this resort. Really big pool area and a smaller one just before with hot tubs as well. It's usually very busy especially on the weekend. Value - you just cannot knock the value of this hotel. We booked through virgin holidays for 2 weeks and in comparison to the other hotels in this price bracket it's miles ahead. I'd rather go cheaper with this hotel and rent a car. Also booking through them should get you a 3pm checkout and a pool view room. Both a must. Cons Room - it's a toss up for what room you got. When we went previously we got a newer room with floor length windows and new air conditioning. This time we didn't the room was really fousty and felt damp. It also had a bit of a smell to it and by the end we were happy to leave. We went to my parents room and found there's was a newer room and they had no problems like we had. Definitely ask for a newer room as the old ones need some more work. Also we had no hot water on one of our evenings. House keeping - it's really hit and miss as to whether they actually clean your room and at what time. We had our room not cleaned a couple of times and when we asked for an earlier room clean as ours once wasn't cleaned when we got home at almost 4pm they then didn't come the next day. My parents had there room cleaned about 5 times over 2 weeks. Management - we had an anniversary to celebrate while here so contacted them in advance if they could do anything nice. They not only didn't even acknowledge it but didn't do a thing. They gave us the wrong room to start as we were meant to get a pool view room with our booking and we had to ask to chance even though they had plenty of pool view rooms available. If you have any queries we all found them very unhelpful. You need a car - nothing to do with the hotel but the location while being great you have to drive to get anywhere if you don't have a car don't stay here. Laundry - As we had a 2 week holiday we needed to do some washing while away. The laundry situation there is really bad. Most machines don't work or have been removed and to use them you need tokens which you can only get at reception. Be prepared that when you find one you will need to then mission to reception before or after to get them. Not ideal. Weekends - the weekends here are busy. It's hard to get a decent car parking space and it's generally busier by the pool and all around the hotel. As it's a cheaper hotel it attracts a lot of people here for weekends entertainment. The resort has a strong smell of weed all around it. Overall I'dsay this is a good hotel for the money but it does come with its drawback. We probably would visit again but definitely not for 2 weeks. We were barely in the room which is a blessing as it's was such a sticky mess of a room. They definitely need to put more money in and renovate the remaining rooms and get better air conditioning and ventilation units in them too.
