Warm Pool & a HotTub! Although their 1 pool was cold, we were glad that they had a warm pool, as well! Hot Tub was large & clean. Pool area had plenty of towels, & a water station at the outside bar. Hotel room was comfortable, & they do have suites. They have a Star Bucks, as well as another restaurant. Kid friendly place.

Great location for Disney I’m really torn about my review as it was a holiday divided in 2. If I was to write the review based on the first week, it would be 5/5. A lovely clean room, with enough room for a family of 4. Great location for Disney, usually around a 10 minute Uber or Lyft. Food was great and really enjoyed breakfast one day. Lovely heated pool and hot tubs. Reception was clean, bright and staff were all very helpful. Now for the negatives, the last few days were not good as large groups arrived. This changed the whole feel of the hotel. We couldn’t get in the pool as there were groups of cheerleaders practicing. It was dicey walking through reception as you had to dodge football matches. Our lovely relaxing base was completely ruined. I’m gutted as we had saved for 2 years for this holiday, the last few days were so stressful. Prior to this we were looking to rebook. Now I’m not sure we’d take the risk. I did raise my concerns with reception but was fobbed off with excuses.

A great location - So much potential! We stayed at this hotel, as a family of three, for two weeks during the UK Schools Easter holiday. We arrived at around 10pm and check in was fine. We had booked with Virgin Holidays so received complimentary car parking and resort fees which we were grateful for as these would have really stacked up over a two week stay. Our room was okay but there was quite an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. This smell never really went throughout the entire two weeks and, in hindsight, we should have asked to be moved however we didn’t really spend that much time there and could not face packing everything and changing rooms. Storage for our clothes was just about adequate, although another chest of drawers would have been useful. We asked for more coat hangers from Reception and these were delivered to us within 15-20 minutes from requesting them. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were shocking! We used our neck supports that we used for the aeroplane flight as a pillow for the duration as we could not get comfortable with the soft pillows which offered absolutely no support for our necks. The tea and coffee making facilities and water were really appreciated. Also, the fridge was really useful and a very welcome addition to our room. There were token operated washing machines and tumble dryers on each corridor which were an absolute God send! The first time I used the washing machine, it worked great, but I unfortunately had an issue with one of the machines on the second occasion as it gobbled my tokens but did not run the cycle I had selected. I went down to Reception to see if they could help but as the machines are provided by an external company, they were unable to help or get involved. They advised me to telephone the number listed in the Laundry Room. My UK mobile phone would not work when dialling the US telephone number, so I gave up. The hotel bar served a limited menu but after our first full day we decided we were too tired from our previous days travelling to go out for dinner so thought we would order food from the bar. It was a bad move! The service was slow and consisted of two waiters who were running themselves into the ground trying to take orders, clear tables, bring the food, etc. I felt genuinely sorry for them. My son’s and my pizzas arrived, and we had eaten them by the time my husband’s food came. We had to wait ages, and I mean AGES, to pay our bill too. I think the hotel needs to decide whether they offer food at the bar or not and invest in MORE STAFF, if they decide to continue to do food. The pools and pool area were nice and very clean. The large pool was really cold but maybe if the weather had been hotter, that would not have mattered as much. Location-wise, this hotel is PERFECT. Literally minutes away from the Disney parks and around 20 minutes to Universal. There was a Nike Outlet Store, a Wendy’s, a Twistee Treat ice cream place and other shops and restaurants very close by. We went to the Little Italy Italian nearby which was very disappointing and the Golden Corral which was also a bit rubbish. All in all, this hotel is an ‘okay hotel’ with one thing that definitely goes in its favour – an excellent location. It has so much potential to be an amazing hotel though and I really hope it lives up to its potential one day. The staff, generally, were all pleasant and obliging and deserve to work somewhere that receives a committed and full investment by its management and head office. I would urge the Mariott Bonvoy Group to invest more in this hotel and it could definitely be a five star trip advisor rated hotel!
