Excellent hotel and experience This hotel was great. The location was perfect, it was clean and the service was excellent. The manager went out of his way to prepare our room early and helped us find our way around the area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking in the area for a place to stay.

Disappointing Stay at Cumberland House Parking: I was surprised to learn the Cumberland House doesn't offer complimentary parking for guests. We didn't check the fees beforehand, assuming a hotel with a nightly rate would include parking. Valet parking costs $35 per day. Bathroom Privacy: The bathroom doors are made of glass, which offered very little privacy. It was uncomfortable using the restroom with roommate nearby. Housekeeping: Housekeeping could be improved. The doors, weren't very clean. Overall, my stay at the Cumberland House fell short of expectations, although the price fell within a higher price range.

Cumberland House Staff I came to Knoxville to celebrate a change of command for one of my military buddies and stayed at the Cumberland House. I could not have made a better choice! The hotel is great! The staff is amazing! It started with the valet, Muk, who was the nicest, most helpful, and welcoming person I have met! He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area! Great guy! The front desk was extremely responsive and helpful with everything! Could not be happier! Will definitely stay here when I come back to Knoxville.

Merritt is the man Wonderful hotel stay. The staff made it the most memorable and comfortable. Merritt at the front desk was especially fantastic. He always gave us a warm welcome and treated us like a friend. Timothy was also kind and helpful. Thank you all!!

High Class on Rocky Top Love this exceptional hotel! Was my second stay here, and it was even better than the first stay. Love the classic theming of the property, and the small details throughout connected to it. Room was spotless, well appointed, and the bed was uber comfortable. Slept so well and the property is quiet. The staff is all fantastic, and really go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant, perfect stay. Enjoyed the fitness center, breakfast in restaurant, and valet parking. I lived in Fort Sanders for five years as a student at UTK in the 1990s, and it was so special to wake up in my old neighborhood which is perfect to easily walk to campus or downtown area. Recommend highly! This is now my favorite Hilton property in Knoxville, and I'll back in the fall. Thank you for a great stay and recognizing me as a Hilton Diamond Member.
