Keep the memory I know this is going to be my last stay in this hotel! Since it's closing! From a short talk to the staffs, I knew this is a 35-year history hotel! Wow! Anyhow, I was quite fond of the location, the cafe, the convenience...etc. But no more from now on! Bye! Old pal!

Enjoyable stay Had a room on the top floor ( number 42) it was huge, with a massive bathroom and amazing views across the pretty square and beyond. Lovely breakfast with superb bread, can't understand a previous review saying it is substandard. A good basic hotel, a little noisy at night. Stairs very steep but there is a small lift.

Good location, small, noisy Was here for a few nights on a business trip. Stayed on the third floor. Windows was to the back, with a brick wall one meter from the window. So no sights, but I was there mostly to sleep so not a big issue. Early in the morning around 5-6AM there was always lots of noise from the hallway outside the room with doors etc. Had some trouble sleeping with that. Some of my colleagues stayed on lower floors, and they did not complain about similar noise issues. Room quality was not that great in any of our rooms and one smelled of cigarettes (so my colleague told me, not my room). Staff was mostly friendly and helpful when needed. Did not have special needs, so cannot comment on that. Small breakfast selection, mainly some bread etc.

Reasonable room, good location, management/cleaner service to be improved. My husband and I stayed here as part of a large group from England. The group of 50+ basically took over the hotel and there were mixed feelings depending on where your room was. We were on the 1st floor in the corner where the window opened onto a brick wall so we were in a quiet spot! Others found the hotel to be noisy. Our room was dark (on account of no sunlight) but nicely decorated and the bathroom consisted of a shower cubicle which had a power shower and the usual hand basin and toilet. No complaints here. Plenty of toiletries and a shoe shine! Breakfast was a typical continental style breakfast, but just want to highlight the worst - very hard boiled eggs, and best - lovely seeded fresh bread rolls. My big complaint would be that whilst we were out sight seeing on our last day, and well before check out time of noon, our bedroom was used as a holding room for some of the group members' suitcases. Nobody from the hotel has asked us, and it was very bad service to enforce some people to leave their rooms before check out time. We were also shocked to find that the cleaner had changed the bed linen and cleaned the room before we had checked out. Not sure if it was the cleaner's idea or managment's. Inevitably we used the bathroom before leaving so just wondering if the sink got cleaned and hand towel got changed before the next guest! Ho hum that's Best Western Hotel Belfort for you.
