it's a place to stay, large rooms suited for families to use the pool I stayed here for work on the Saturday of Wisconsin's state high school track meet, which makes hotel rooms a hard-to-find commodity. My rooms $149 before taxing I'm guessing that higher than expected price because of yield management software. I didn't use the pool, although my room's was exit was directly to the pool area. The hotel was hopping when I checked in with a wedding reception in one part of the property and lots of kids having fun in the pool. The room was a little loud until about 10pm because of the pool. Check-in was fast and friendly. The room could use some updating, it was a bit one the dark side, but I'm guessing if you have small kids you won't care. You will like how deep the rooms are with a small alcove outside the bathroom door where a couple of people with sleeping bags could easily fit. I was in room 104. There were plenty to towels my room, but small are thin, but what I would expect at this price point. The shower head was mounted high so I didn't have to stoop under it. I hope this hotel switches from small plastic bottles of shampoo & conditioner to dispensers in the shower. he room had a small refrigerator and microwave. The bed was firm and comfortable. If I were staying in La Crosse I would stay at newish Fairfield Inn & Suites because it's more suited to my needs and I'm a lifetime Marriott Gold member.

Do not go here We reserved a river view room deluxe queen beds. The room smelled moldy. Spider webs where the ceiling and wall meet and hair in the bathroom. We we moved across the hall with a view of the parking lot. Room smelled better so i could at least breathe and my eyes didn't burn. Old dorito chips on the floor of the bathroom and hair. Desk chair had a huge stain and the curtain rod was broke. Air conditioner gurgled all night. The pool area is very hot and humid. Someone pooped in the pool. I informed employees who since short staff took me up on my offer to help scoop poop while they dropped chemicals in the pool. In the morning someone was treating the pool, but there was no signs telling people to stay away. Breakfast was a joke. Muffins and juice. That's it. I think they had maybe 2 employees working. In the morning they at least adjusted the room price to the room we slept in andthe morning desk clerk was doing double duty folding towels behind the desk. Carpet, tile, walls everything looks very run down and poorly maintained. Avoid the hotel. We were very grossed out and a sunday night cost 140.

Terrible experience We have stayed at this hotel for years, but this year was horrible as far as cleanliness goes. Our bathroom had not been cleaned, even had items from the last guests on the counter. The bedding had not been washed with a HUGE BUG in the bed.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE Went to this hotel because of pool with slide for kids. Pool was freezing cold. No towels were available after getting out of pool. Complained to front desk. Guy didn't seem to care and made excuses. Next morning went back to the pool and still ZERO towels! Went to housekeeping directly and surprise surprise she had tons of towels available! WiFi overall very weak. Breakfast consisted of water and Sam's club muffins. Whoever is running this place train your employees to actually want to solve problems and help customers! Also, called front desk numerous times - NO ANSWER!

Very Unsatisfied Stay Checked in to this hotel online and when we arrived we not impressed with what was waiting for a group of five. Two double beds for five people, one person decided she was not staying and decided to cut her trip short. We were given a dirty musty room, damp and dirty floor, room with a sewer smell and cigarette smell. Bedding was dirty with hairballs in the sheets. This is listed as a smoke free hotel on some sites, apparently a misrepresentation on a number of levels. Since we were from out of state the rest of us stayed since we had no other option available. It was a long sleepless night and left bright and early. I could go on with all the disappointing facts about this stay , but there are TOO many. I would give this stay a zero.
