August 2024 week long trip I would give our experience a 1 and only that due to the redeeming fact that the people at the front desk were great. Other than that it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had at any hotel anywhere. Absolutely DO NOT STAY HERE!!! There are many shady and questionable people hanging around outside day and night causing a safety issue. The hotel is extremely dirty everywhere you look and during our entire week of staying there I never once saw anyone vacuum the halls. Trash pickup was a joke and disgusting as you had to set it outside your door and there were numerous bags of trash on several occasions left for hours in the hallway outside of doors. Let me tell you about our room. The room was dark and dingy with dirty walls. Pulling back the top sheet on the bed there were hairs of some sort and a few crumbs. The tv reception was terrible with most channels either snowy or lines through and one even had the program playing but with no sound. Another was just a picture. Moving on to the bathroom. The sink faucet leaked severely all over the counter when you had it on. I could only take a shower 3 of the 7 nights because there was no hot water; as in none. It was COLD. Not lukewarm. COLD. One night in order to take a sponge bath we heated some water in the microwave, stopped up the bathroom sink with a washcloth (there was no sink stopper) and poured water in the sink. We were able to take quick showers early 2 mornings and get hot water but right after we did there was no more hot water the remainder of the day. One of the nights there was no water AT ALL from either the sink faucet or tub faucet but the toilet flushed and refilled and could be re-flushed so I don’t know what that was all about. And we had a smoke detector that had a battery out of it so wasn’t operational. We did ask for our bathroom faucet to be fixed and smoke detector to be made operational but were told that they wouldn’t do it unless we were in the room. We were on vacation and couldn’t wait around in our room for them to decide when they were going to come to fix them so it never got done. Our daughter came the next night. Her 1st room was dirtier than ours and had NO SMOKE DETECTOR; it was just GONE! We promptly went down and requested another room for her. As they didn’t have any more queen size rooms they upgraded her to a king for the same price. The room was slightly cleaner as in the walls weren’t as dirty. BUT AGAIN THE SMOKE DETECTOR WAS MISSING. What I mean by missing is that it had a place where it had been but was gone. Her tv had all the same problems as ours but on top of that she didn’t have any working remote. Instead you had to manually go and change the channel. The very 1st night she was in there she started getting bites. We don’t know what the bites were from but beware. There is no breakfast. There is orange juice, apple juice and if you get there soon enough coffee which usually ran out before “breakfast” was over. And a choice of possibly 2 flavors of granola bars which btw you were “forbidden” to take to your room. I was so happy to leave this place behind. I recommend you stay as far away from this place as you can get. In the future I will try to avoid all hotels by Wyndham.

Avoid the Super 8 by Wyndham in Lacey A Warning to Future Guests: Avoid the Super 8 by Wyndham in Lacey I rarely leave hotel reviews, but this is less of a review and more of a warning. Do not stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Lacey. It’s not clean, cared for, or safe. It’s one thing if a facility is old, but it’s another if people are making conscious decisions to present unsafe/unsanitary conditions as acceptable. First, I want to acknowledge the single staff member on duty. I don’t blame them for the state of this place, or their lack of engagement; it’s clear any enthusiasm or personality they might have once had has likely been eroded by the misery of working for the Super 8 by Wyndham in Lacey. Upon arrival, my family and I were immediately struck by the overflowing garbage at the entrance. Flies buzzed around our heads but didn’t follow us into the lobby, maybe they knew something we didn’t. A man slept in a chair at the entrance with a pile of clothes at his feet, strange odors filled the air. The carpeted hallway to our room was dirty, and garbage bags sat outside several of the other rooms. When we entered our room, the light didn’t work, and the TV was broken. I went back to the check-in desk (ensuring as I passed that the sleeping man in the chair was alive, thankfully he was) and requested a room change. The new room had a functioning TV but only one small throw pillow for each bed. This detail really irked me—the fact that Wyndham’s corporate office thinks two tiny throw pillows are sufficient. The walls, like the ones in the other room, were splattered with old food: Dust and mold were everywhere, the hot water in the sink didn’t work, there was only one light for the entire room, and the dead bolt on the door had clearly been kicked in with the screw holes stripped. The bed sheets and towels were stained brown, and the blankets had cigarette burns. My child even remarked, “Look, Dad, I can put my finger through the cigarette holes!” It made me question the point of signing a no-smoking agreement at check-in. When I left to pick up dinner, a car was parked at the entrance, with several intoxicated people spilling into the lobby. The man who had been sleeping earlier was now engaged in an argument with this motley crew. Upon returning, I could hear raised voices in a room adjacent to ours. When I tried to open our door, I found my wife had barricaded it with a chair. Our sleep was poor, but our kids are resilient. I booked this hotel specifically for the jacuzzi and breakfast, which my kids were excited about. However, the pool wasn’t open in the morning, and the breakfast was a broken juice dispenser that only served watered-down orange juice and a basket of expired granola bars. The garbage in the hallways was still there from the night before, nothing had been cleaned. We paid $143 USD for what was supposed to be a nice break after nine nights of camping. In hindsight, we would have been better off sleeping on the side of the highway. The Wyndham corporate team should take a serious look at this property and consider the damage it’s doing to their brand and credibility.

DON'T STAY RUN AS FAST AS YOU. My review the best thing about the that motel was the lobby after I left the lobby everything went low it was absolutely terrible I would not recommend this to anyone after I received my key I was sent to the basement room and at the time I was in there after a while it started smelling musty and wet and so I let them know what was going on also the curtains in the room were not hooked to the rod at all, and they did move me to another room which was not that great either it had the carpet was coming up and the TV did not work at all and when I let them know that the TV was not working and they couldn't get it working then the next day they transferred me again. The third and final room was really downhill as you can see in the photos that I took. And I hope you're not hungry cuz the breakfast consists of coffee juice and a granola bar that's it. And don't go barefoot in there because the carpets are really filthy and in the room and in the hallway so wear shoes.
