Buchanan Lofts

Loft super, parking so so We had loft 7 which was very nice. We meet nobody from the staff but this was no problem because we received all instructions in advance. We also took advantage of washing and drying machines available in the loft: if would have been great if a little of washing soap would have been available. Only problem is the parking space, which is in our understanding shared with a Mexican restaurant. The parking lot is small and we were just able to park in the last available place. Overall is a very nice modern alternative accommodation

Worst. Experience. Ever. Do not stay here...you've been warned. The location is difficult to find, not well lit, the signage is horrible, there are weeds growing up through cracks in the sidewalk, there is no discernible place to park and the best part is the office closes at 5:00 p.m. I arrived at 9:30 p.m. to find a locked door and a piece of paper with a number to call for the door code. The area does not feel very safe either. I called the number and got an after hours answering service and was told they would have someone call me. 1 1/2 hours...yes hours later I received a call from the property manager. She told me I was suppposed to have received an email with the door code and the code to my loft today but of course I received no such email. I am typing this review from my room at the Doubletree which I got when i hadn't heard from anyone at the Buchanan Lofts. I'm still waiting for a call from the owner, Leah, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I have no idea what the Lofts are like since I never got in the front door. The Buchanan Lofts are literally the worst run business I've encountered in a long time.

Great place in downtown Lafayette Spacious, well-maintained, quirky. I love this place. Huge lofts offer great lounging and social space. Great, nearby coffee shop, The bed was comfortable and there was also a full kitchen, although I didn't need it. Check-in was easy. A memorable place to stay in Lafayette.

Great space After four weeks of hotels it was heaven to find Buchanan Lofts. Our 'loft' was huge, very stylishly decorated and well equipped and with laundry facilities, which is a big bonus. Leah, the manager, gave us a number of great tips on what to see and where to eat. This was a quiet and relaxing couple of nights and I would unhesitatingly recommend Buchanan Lofts to anyone.

Spacious This was great, traveling with another couple, so this loft was a perfect stop. We stayed 2 nights. Very clean and spacious lofts. Location is great and easy access. Owner gave us suggestions of things to do or see , was great. These lofts are fully equipped.
