Amazing resort, truly as wonderful as they say First time staying at Napili Kai and it was absolutely amazing. Stayed for a full week in a Family Studio room with our 1 year old and it was sublime. Room----The room was massive with a big lanai, massive bathroom with double sinks (no tub, just shower) and separate toilet. There was a full kitchen with all the very basic stuff you need for cooking. Please take note there will not be any condiments or any kind in the room nor any ziplock bags, foil etc. It came with basic bakeware, cookware, utensils, and plates, bowls, cups etc. The room was billed as an ocean view room, and you could see the ocean, but it wasn't a spectacular view. Our friends were in the basic studio room and had the most amazing view ever. Even so, we loved the space of this room considering we had a one year old with us. What was also great about Napili Kai is they included the crib, high chair, and a diaper genie for our stay free of charge. Just amazing, we loved the room. Hotel----The hotel offers many activities throughout the week, each day is something different. The have morning coffee and tea every day, multiple pools and hottubs, beach chairs you can use for free, towels, among other things. We found the beach chairs super convenient, we rented a few at Boss Frog's but didn't even really need them. The grounds were very well kept up for sure. The have some bbq grills, however they seemed really far away from our building, the complex is quite vast and spread out. The mangos falling out of their mango tree were delicious!! Beach/Surrounding Area----The beach is simply the best part. Napili Bay is gorgeous, crystal clear water, sandy bottom, a bit of snorkeling, and very chill. We took our 1 year old out swimming in her inner tube daily. Just check photos, the beach is stunning and hotel is literally right on the beach. I also love the proximity to Kapalua Bay which has better snorkeling and is another great beach. It was a 5 minute walk for us from our room out to Kapalua and probably a 2 minute walk to the Napili water. There is a shopping center with a pretty good market, coffee shop, Boss Frog's and some other food options. The on site restaurant at Napili Kai was pretty good as well. Pricey, but would definitely eat there again. I can't recommend this resort enough, 10/10 would come again!

Location Rocks! At first glance, the rooms are a bit dated and the lobby isn't spectacular. Parking is adequate and the front of the "resort" is a bit awkward. But, once you look at your patio and see the bay/ocean and you stroll under the big mango tree to the beach, you understand why you pick this place. Location, Location, Location, Beach, Bay, Great Restaurants, and did I say Location! The Gazebo is a short walk along the beach for a fantastic breakfast. The Sea House for cocktails, dinner, and a sunset to die for. The If you want pricey but worth it, you have the Planation House at Kapalua, and Merriman's, just a short walk (2 mins to be exact). The Kapalua Coastal trail is right out your door and the Plantation Course is you want to play the golf is a can't miss. Probably my favorite was the snorkeling in Napili Bay. Swam with 3 sea turtles and saw countless colorful fish, again, just out your door and a 2 min walk. So, if location is important, you are at the right place!

Wonderful resort! Donna Bender Of MauiCalls helped my family book our stay at Napili Kai. She was very helpful and her Local GIrl's Guide to Maui had great tips for excursions and restaurants. The only complaint I have was that we didn't book for more days at Napili Kai. This resort is amazing. The rooms are clean and spacious. Having a kitchen was great with a family. The resort is wonderful. Everything from the beautiful beach to the pools and wonderful Sea House restaurant made our stay so memorable. We rarely left the resort. We will most definitely be back again.

Beautiful property, Great location, Unsurpassed Beach w/ Terrific Snorkeling; Marvelous Food and Service This an ideal resort. Fabulous location with a superb beach with great snorkeling and swimming; nicely appointed rooms; very attractive facilities and property. Excellent service by housekeeping, at the front desk, and in the restaurant/bar. Food at the restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was excellent. It is in a fabulous location less than an hour from the airport. Being at the beginning of the wonderful coastal trail is a great advantage. About a mile to two other grocery stores and additional restaurants.

Amazing Resort All I can say is wow! This is such a beautiful and peaceful place, quite different from the hectic pace of Honolulu. This was our first trip to Maui and could not have picked a better location to stay. The room was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed to help make our stay wonderful. A nice view of the grounds and beach/ocean. The beach was great and the bay was amazing, such clear water with a great view. This was our first time snorkeling and could not have had a better experience. The clear warm waters, the reef, dozens of various types of tropical fish and we saw 3 sea turtles at a surprisingly close distance. It was truly amazing as memorable. We used a hand held GoPro for some wonderful pictures and video. The snack bar was nice and convenient for your mid day needs along with the comfortable beach chairs and towels that are available to guests. The SeaHouse restaurant which is right on the beach has some good dinner selections with an outstanding view from most tables. The location is near to some places to visit, the Nakalele blowhole, Old Lahaina Luau. The staff was great and everything was perfect. It does not have a big resort feel, or the crowds but a nice family feel to it. We would definitely stay here again.
