Wonderful resort at Lake Arrowhead Our unit was excellent, with a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and a large bedroom. There was a gas fireplace in the living room to add atmosphere, and our unit overlooked a stand of pine trees. The complex has a pool, spa and gym, but they were closed because of COVID-19. We borrowed one of the hiking passes that allowed us to access the trail around Lake Arrowhead. We also explored Heap's Peak Arboretum and Lake Gregory. Hortencia's restaurant near Lake Gregory is worth the drive. They have excellent and reasonably priced Mexican view in a restaurant that juts out over the mountainside for a spectacular view.

North Bay at Lake Arrowhead The location is great and in the heart of Lake Arrowhead. Property staff are very pleasant and helpful. Neither RCI or the resort could get us into a full kitchen one bedroom. I do NOT recommend the partial kitchen. In addition, the balcony railing had serious dry-rot issues, if a person leaned on it, they might actually break it right off. The rooms have not been updated.

Exceeded our expectations Spacious, clean as in not even a spot of soap scum in the bathrooms, kitchen appliances are spotless white, drapes/valances, clean quality towels. Great customer service. Took evening walks from front to back gate feeling safe in gated community.

Not worthy of an RCI property! This resort was a complete disappointment and is NOT a Resort of Distinction! This property is run down and needs a complete renovation. Paint peeling and wood rotting on backs of buildings. Furniture old and shabby. Carpets needed cleaning. Room completely devoid of any conveniences such as salt/pepper, even 1 coffee filter, a bar of soap, or shampoo! Would have been nice if they would have warned us so we could have been prepared. Thin walls so the TV next door kept us up until after midnight several nights. All units are split level so lots of stairs to deal with. The only nice area is the Clubhouse but..that is only open from 10-5:00 which included the lighted tennis courts and pool. The pool was very cold. Only 1 out of the 4 BBQs had propane so unusable. No air conditioning. No staff on duty after 5:00 so no assistance with problems. Will never return to this property!

Dated but enjoyable If you are looking to get away from everything, this is a great place to do that. Secluded in the woods with views of nature. Property and room are dated (90's) and need an update BUT everything was clean and functioning. Temps were great 75* during the day, high 50's at night. We did see a coyote roaming around the parking lot one night so be aware. Food options are not plentiful in the area and with Covid regulations, most places are to go only. Rooms don't have soap because of covid but almost seems counter productive as we had to buy hand soap at the grocery store. My only "complaint" if I have one is I was not aware of limited check in hours and my room key was placed in a lock box outside the clubhouse. No signage to say "front desk inside" at clubhouse so was confused on where to go. Was difficult to retrieve my key, seems like they could get a more updated system OR inform guests of this policy before arrival. Once I figured out the room key situation, all was well. I would return to enjoy the weather and peacefulness of the woods.
