Amazing stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort! We spent 10 days here in April/May as a family of 4, and we loved every moment of it! Check in was quick and easy, and the rooms were ready on arrival. We had booked 2 rooms and these were next to each other in the 70’s building! We have been to Walt Disney World & Pop Century before, so everything was linked to our MagicBands. The rooms are great, they’re spacious and the bed is so comfy! There is enough room to store all your clothes and the room was very clean! There is also a safe to store personal belongings, a fridge to put drinks in to keep them cool and the air con works great! The room has another bed which can be pulled down, or if it’s left up then it turns into a table with a couple of chairs. There is a TV in the room where you can watch different things, or if you’ve got Disney+ you can stream it to the TV! Everything POP Shopping & Dining is fantastic! The shop has a wide range of products and if you need anything you can get it from there. We ate at the food court a few times, and the food is good value for money, it’s tasty and there’s a wide range of food. We purchased the refillable cups and these are worth the money to get a drink in the morning, or when you come back from the parks! I would recommend getting one of these! We used the Bowling Pool and we always managed to get a sunbed, the towels are free to use and the pool is clean, and there are always lifeguards there. The Skyliner is my favourite part of Pop Century, and we loved going to Hollywood Studios & Epcot on it! The queue looks long in the morning, but it moves very quick! I think the most we waited was around 10 minutes. It also doesn’t take long to get to the parks on the Skyliner. The buses are great too, they’re frequent and they also don’t take long to get to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. We also used the buses to go to Disney Springs & Typhoon Lagoon! There are 24-hour self-service laundry rooms available near Bowling Pool, Computer Pool and Hippy Dippy Pool. I used the one near the Bowling Pool while we sunbathed and went in the pool. It was only $3.50 per wash/dry and I brought my own washing powder with me, but there is vending machine with detergent and fabric softener sheets. If you use the CSC Go app, you can see how long is left on the washing/drying so you know when to go back to collect your laundry. Our flight back home was a late one, so we asked at reception if there was any chance we could have a late check out. They honoured this for us (free of charge) until 12pm. This really helped as we could have our room for a bit longer before heading back to the airport. Overall, Pop Century was perfect for us and I would highly recommend it. We couldn’t fault anything while we were there, the theme of the hotel is amazing and we enjoyed walking around looking at all of the different decades. The staff were all friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms were fantastic, the pool was great and the food was lovely too! Thank you, we can’t wait to come back again!

Waste of money Wheelchair disabled customers: The disabled wheelchair accessible room Disney call it is NOT disabled friendly if you are going to be using the two beds provided in the room. There is limited space to manoeuvre, the bed has a huge frame which makes transferring REALLY challenging. The bathroom sink is tooo high, taps too far, shower room is so tiny only one person can fit in there and that’s not the wheelchair person and there is no space to transfer from a wheelchair. Mum never had a shower because of this. She needed so much assistance to wash her face even. We tried to ask to change the room and we even complained but they didn’t care because all the disabled rooms have been created and made without the input of a wheelchair user. It’s such a shame that you spend tons of money to book a flight ticket, stay at their hotel, then the park tickets and they cannot even make a proper few rooms for their disabled guests to stay comfortably and independently. We will not be staying at a Disney hotel ever again. The parks have very limited wheelchair accessible rides and tons and tons of rides for able bodied people which isn’t fair to disabled customers old or young, it makes them feel isolated, different and excluded. They also expect disabled people to queue for ages Unless they pay to cut the queue!!! Never wasting money on Disney ever again! And I think you shouldn’t too!!!

Pop Century Hotel, Orlando…July 2024 We spent a week here in July along with 12 other family members. Arriving in the middle of a storm, wasn’t the best and the reception was full of wet guests and a bit of confusion! Check in was hectic with rooms not ready but it was soon rectified and we received our keys. The rooms themselves are fab. We stayed in the 60s building and they are clean & spacious enough for two adults and two children. The resort itself is fab…we ate breakfast every morning and there is a range of food. Expensive although convenient before heading to the parks. Used both the skyline and buses all ran efficiently with no problems. Used the pool every night opened until 11pm with life guards constantly on guard. Also used the laundry $3.50 for the machine and dryer, $1 for powder safe to leave your clothes and come back to collect took about an hour to wash and dry. Check out very easy with everything linked to the app. Would defo recommend and can’t wait to return

Pleasant hotel, poor customer service The hotel was perfectly pleasant, clean and comfortable rooms, loved being near the Skyliner. If I were reviewing solely on that, I would have given it 5 stars, but our experience was really marred by what I would call shockingly bad customer service. On the less consequential side, we were given wrong information multiple times. For one example, a front desk clerk advised us to “be sure to reserve our Minnie Van the night before” because it might be harder to get one in the morning. Spoiler: you can’t reserve Minnie Vans for future use. Not a huge deal but something basic she should have known. There were several incidents like that involving timing of the outdoor movie showing, breakfast hours, rope drop. Basic stuff that was just wrong. On the more serious end, on the day of departure, the sidewalk in front of our rooms had patches of water. While there were cones placed further down the sidewalk, they were not in front of our room. The cones did not block the sidewalk and were not placed around the wet spots. I slipped on one of the wet spots immediately after leaving my room and fell, hurting my knee and one hand. So accidents happen, right? But because I needed to ice my knee, we needed an extra 20 min or so to finish packing and check out. When I called the front desk, she wanted to know if I needed medical attention, which was nice, but all I wanted was a littleextra checkout time. She told me a manager would call me because “we need to fill out an incident report.” But no manager called, not even to see if I was okay, which is just really bad customer service. And not only did they not check in, but a manager from housekeeping came by to rush us out 20 min *before* checkout time. When we explained to him that I was injured, since he had clearly not been notified, he complained that it would be challenging for him to update the system with that information. I suppose they were hoping to avoid a lawsuit by pretending it didn’t happen, but they knew their workers had witnessed the incident (they came over to help me up, to their credit), so it’s kind of a stupid strategy. I’m not a litigious person, but not getting ANY acknowledgment at all made me think about it. As a business journalist, I write about customer service all the time, I know the best way to leave a positive impression is to go out of your way to “delight the customer” and certainly with Disney, I expect much better. Walt would not be proud.

Love it! I literally love this hotel. Value yes, but it certainly gives you everything you need. the beds are SO comfortable. The room itself is super smart. Fold down bed option that is also a table when it's not folded up, plenty of space, nice bathroom. everything was spotless. The access to the skyline was incredible. And the quick service options though they are "fast options" are super tasty and dont feel that bad for you. I really enjoyed my stay here and would absolutely recommend this value resort.
