$100 Ain't What It Used To Be Maybe you could invest in some basic maintenance. Just because we can't afford high dollar rooms but we shouldn't be treated as such. Room was cheap and dirty. Breakfast was meh. Restroom in lobby was "out of order" but the desk clerk used it.

Place should be shut down The rooms are disgusting, filthy and smell I don't think they have been cleaned in a long while. The breakfast I wouldn't feed to my pigs, I watched the worker mixing hugs of waffle mix together and using a knife to clean the scan off the waffle maker & then put it back in the container with the other knifes. Safer to sray in your car.

Unsafe, Unkind and Filthy This is a very bad hotel. The good is its location, it’s right next to route 40 and it’s well lit parking lot. The bad started with check in. The employee/owner that checked me in greeted me with a grunt and took a while to check me in. I asked for an extra pillow and he looked at me like I had 3 heads and told me they don’t have pillows at this hotel. I asked do you mind looking and he said there are 3 in the room that is enough for you. The ugly was everything else. Our room was at the back of the hotel and there were two ruff looking people/possible vagrants passed out in the outdoor pathways, one on the 1st floor and one on the third. I went back to the front desk to tell the front desk guy and he insisted I give him my credit card because the booking agent didn’t charge me for my pet. He did not ask about the people I observed nor showed any concern for my family housed in his hotel. I left the check in box and he followed me, yelling obscenities and demanding $15. He followed me back to my room badgering me the the whole way, told me I was wrong about the humans strewn about the parking lot, claiming they are guest and he didn’t want to bother them. I left him to deal with the drunks below us and trudged up the steps to my room to find a new fresh hell. The room was filthy. The carpet was crunchy, the bed sham smelled like a year old gym bag and there was a thick layer of dust on most surfaces. 2 of the 4 lightbulbs in the room were dead, the faucets was dirty, the shower was disgusting and covered in lime and all of the lamp shades were dented and stained. My wife and I slept in our cloths and got the f&@k outta there first thing in the morning. This hotel does not deserve to be a Super 8, this hotel does not deserve your business and this hotel does not deserve to exist.

Traveler's Nightmare This facility had some seedy looking folks living on the back side and there were drug needles laying around in the grass next to the exit drive. The outside appearance was dirty and smelled like urine in the walkways.

Security Issue Light that night, a random man, unlock our door with a key and walked straight into our room. I had no clothes on, so I was exposed to him. I have never been more embarrassed, mortified, and fearful of my safety as I was at that moment. I called the front desk to ask how that man got a key to our room. The man working at that time told me he gave someone our room by mistake and deactivated our key to activate the strangers key. That situation could have been beyond out-of-control and dangerous. The man on staff told me if I don’t like it there I can leave. Keep in mind we were six hours from home and it was late in the night. He was extremely rude, kept yelling at me and speaking over me, then pretty much told me to get over it, and that there will be zero resolution or reimbursement as he feels “the situation is over with”. But he doesn’t get to choose when my uncomfortable feelings reside. This was a few days ago, and I am still not comfortable getting undressed in my own home. This is beyond unacceptable, and I have never been treated more poorly anywhere I went then I did that night at this super 8. I will share my experience with anyone that will listen about Super 8 and will highly recommend them to NOT go to one.
