A good stay near Chicago We stayed one night on our trip across the US. Our room was clean, and we felt safe here. This hotel is convenient to Interstate 80 and to Chicago. We checked in, unloaded our car, and drove into downtown Chicago. We didn't want to hassle with paying overnight parking downtown, and staying outside the city put us closer to the interstate the next morning. The hotel has its own parking lot. There is a train stop a few miles away if you want to take a train into Chicago. Andy at the front desk was very helpful. This hotel is being remodeled, so there was no access to the gym or a lounge area. Bagged continental breakfast was complimentary. Free parking.

Overall would recommend this property. unfortunately the deadbolt did not line up so would not work felt a little unsafe Clock and outlet by clock did not work,so phone did not get charged. Breakfast was good. Wish bananas and regular yogurt were available but there was bacon.

Not as good as we hoped Pros: clean, friendly staff (when at the desk). Well lit parking lot, felt safe. Good attempt at breakfast. Room was a great size. Keurig in room, small microwave and mini fridge. Cons: still under renovation (March 2022) so room was dated. Old everything. Some mold in shower. Room had an over deodorized smell. Bed was hard. AC made an utterly ridiculous amount of noise, no one can sleep through that. Window opens 4" but screen broken. Apparently "non-smoking " does not apply to marijuana. Hallways and often elevator reeked!!! I appreciated the hot sandwich at breakfast but was disappointed there was no milk or cream for coffee. Only sweetened non-dairy pump. Definitely missed pre-covid breakfast options! We will try one of the many other similar hotels on the street next time.

NOT FOR THE PRICE!!!! Wow what an out dated hole in the wall place this is. Carpets in the room are stained and the vibe of the room is that of a 2 star property. At most this place should be $75/night. This is not a holiday inn quality. Now beyond that it’s a great location. Time to ramp it up a little or charge less.

Horrible hotel, Arrived late afternoon Jan 25 to check in prior to receiving Covid shot next day. There was a snow storm predicted so we felt it would be safer to stay overnight nearby the pharmacy. Front desk staff was not wearing mask properly and when kindly asked to do so she rudely covered her nose. First room we had was not made up, all linens and towels thrown on floor of room. Second room was filthy, food and weeks worth of debris on carpets, and spilled drinks on furniture. Mirrors all filthy, urine on seat in bathroom. Multiple long black hairs on bedding ( not ours). We started to wipe down room with antiseptic wipes and after discovering obvious urine in bathroom opted to leave. This hotel is NOT COVID Safe nor is it even clean by basic standards. Only chose it as it was close to site of our inoculations. Oh, and when we left, the front desk person had taken down her mask and was waiting on people not properly covered again. And we did see housekeeping staff on elevator and in halls with no masks. Disgusting and dangerous Location. Don’t know how anyone could give good reviews.
