I would love to stay here again! We were in town for my wife's surgery at the nearby hospital, so I arranged to stay a couple of nights. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service and accommodations. Sheila, at the front desk, was so friendly and knowledgeable with not just my reservation, but also with the reservations of those in front of me while I was waiting to be checked in. The room was recently renovated (at least if felt/looked that way) and the location was lovely. I look forward to staying again for recreational travel, where we can enjoy the waterfront and shops across the lane a little more. I didn't get away from the hotel or the hospital too much, but the snack bar area by the front desk had EVERYTHING I could want, so I was very glad for the convenience. Thank you to the staff and management who took great care of me during such a hectic time!

Hotel in natural environment. This is not a luxury hotel, but got my good review because location is great, surrounding is very green and natural, lobby is welcoming, rooms are good size and beds are comfortable. What more do you need ? Staff is friendly. Only, the elevator is kind of away from lobby area, that can be tolerated.

Excellent Management, Great Service and Nice Rooms Meaningful stay during COVID to help family. The Marriot Courtyard in Larkspur was well managed, comfortable, clean and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to the General Manager for making this a memorable stay.

Great location but noisier than expected Being right across from Marin Country Mart with shops and restaurants was very convenient. The hotel is just above the complex though and away from the bustle, and it's not on the highway or a busy street as many hotels are, which is what we were looking for for a peaceful night away. Room was clean and premises were nice, but doors/walls? were thin. You could hear everyone's TV as you walked by their rooms and while inside the room the faraway ice machine was quite loud. When we checked in we were asked if first floor was okay ("unless you prefer the third floor" with an expression that suggested I should not prefer the third floor) and I just said that wherever was quieter would be great. We were given a room on the first floor and when we went to it, I noticed it was next to a conference room, but given the quiet request and COVID I assumed it was unlikely it would be used. Early the next morning there was so much commotion as the room indeed was being used and previously-mentioned thin doors allowed us to hear all the conversations and activity. The other side of our room was right next to the parking lot and with the proximity you could hear everyone coming and going.

Great place North of SF We stayed here to see the areas north of San Francisco including Muir Woods, Pt Reyes, Golden Gate viewpoints, Sausalito and the Marin Headlands. It is located directly off the Richmond Bridge and across the street from the Marin Country Mart with many shops and eateries. Our favorite was the Rustic Bakery which was always full of locals, a good sign. Great place for breakfast. Also an easy walk across the bridge is the ferry to go into the city. It’s in a very convenient location. Before we arrived I asked for a room that was not occupied the night prior and Maria was very helpful with this request. The room was nice, comfortable and quiet. We stayed on a courtyard view of pool and there were rarely people in the pool. I asked for a microwave and we used it and the fridge to prep food for our long days of exploring. Unfortunately we came back to our room and the fridge had completely frozen our food and the microwave was very inadequate and impossible to defrost the food. Ian at the front desk was very helpful in getting the fridge fixed and replaced the microwave with a better newer model! He also gave us a room credit for the inconvenience and hassles. There is a nice pool area and deck / we did not use but would with other family members on a different trip. The main lobby area has a large bistro area and lots of seating but it was mostly closed and we didn’t use. I would suggest this hotel for people that want to be north of the city whether for work or play in the north bay. Overall great location and great staff and we would stay there again when in that area.
