Bf Kicked out of pool for looking “ homeless” we’re from NJ lmao So my situTionship/ ex was kicked out of the pool area bc I ran back up to the room to grab my phone and he didn’t know our room number whe they questioned him. It’s Vegas - we’re having fun & bc we just knew where our room was. I knew the number but he didn’t. He just knew where it was - so they kicked him out. Unreal. It was cheap but honestly so far from the strip and Ubers won’t drop on the strip & Ubers are a NIGHTMARE out there. We didn’t want to go out bc of it. We went out 2/4 nights because of that alone. so if you’re looking for a real NIGHTLIFE over the top on the strip type of Vegas vibe. Stay on the strip. If you’re more there for the experience, atmosphere, just vibing, vacation & a more low key type of vibe. Deff worth it to stay here. But for the 21 year olds who want pure night life - the Uber situation & how far it is from things is not worth it. Spend the money and stay on strip or try to get comped. The casino gave away my reservation ( wtf is the point of making it lol) so we were kind of like where else can we stay. But he’s trash and looks homeless so I kind of don’t even blame them for kicking him out. Lol but that did anger me when I was there and in the moment. ESP since we HAD A ROOM. That was not nice. But they must know trash when they see it <3 fufish

Beware!!!! Staff was wonderful but floors were very dirty, bottoms of my feet were black from walking in room. Found trash behind chairs and tables that had been there awhile. Bathtub drain had black gunk in it. Could not take showers. Too dirty and drain didn't work . When checking out they charged us a 10$ a day parking fee. When we told them that was never disclosed to us they said that they don't disclose it. They expect you to read a sign they post. Could not use the swimming pool. A gang of guys were out there smoking pot. Lot of homeless people in parking lot. I do not recommend this hotel. Pay a little more and stay somewhere is is my recommendation.

STAY AWAY - Go somewhere with security I'm here in town for work. Upon check in, my bedroom TV did not work, the sink was broken, dishes were dirty, and red syrup was all over the inside of the refrigerator. To top it off, and this is the one that pisses me off the most, my brand new 3 day owned $1400 scooter was stolen on the fourth (top) floor while I was on a 5 minute phone call with a client. Chain of command is not a thing here at Sonesta and if their is communication, its is not reported accurately. My suggestion, choose a hotel that priortizes standard operations procedures such as incident reports and one that has security so the hotel can actually do something when something goes missing. Nevada PD, even with a description of the perpetrator, location of a perpetrator, and video of the perpetrator stealing an item WILL NOT do anything if the item is worth less than 5K. Nevada PD's focus/priority are serious crimes and no attention is on lower end crimes worth less than 5K. To sum, this place is DANGERIOUS and without security. Lastly, Sonesta appears to be promoting the saying "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas;" i.e. your belongings.

Not worth the price. No housekeeping, no ice machine, entire facility smelled like weed, and the transients in the pool were a little disturbing. No shade or umbrellas at pool and you had to walk all the way to the front desk for towels, which were the size of dish towels. Definitely not worth $230/night.

Stayed here for the SEMA Show. Arrived late at night for check in. We had called ahead as our flight was delayed. The older gentleman that checked us in was friendly but had a strong accent as was hard to understand. The Queen Suite was spacious but very outdated. The room I stayed in 151 needs a remodel as was 60’s. Had a musty smell but was clean best possible. It was 1 mile from the Convention Center.
