Amazing Birthday stay at Downtown Grand!! Me and my partner stayed 5 nights in a spacious king studio on the top floor of the gallery tower. Was given a view of the pool and downtown which was very nice. The hotel staff were amazing, check-in was a breeze. The room was spacious, modern and very clean. The pool area was fun with lots of room to lounge. The casino was on the smaller side but the slot selection was adequate and the low limit tables were very fun! The location is a block north of the Fremont Street Experience which allows you to walk to the action and be able to escape from it to a quiet room. I 1000% recommend staying here as the price, location and quality of the hotel make it a downtown standout! P.S for the best pizza in LV you must try Pizza Rock across the street from the hotel!

Once is bad luck... Great location for a Fremont Street trip. Room was clean and bright but... Hot water was almost cold, even after running for 8 minutes. This is my seond stay here in 2 months, and had the same issue last time. Once is bad luck but twice is a permament problem. I will not be staying here again !

Will not stay again. Paid extra to stay in the refurbished rooms, however, the hotel locks the air conditioning at 70 degrees which is too warm to sleep. The elevators that require a room key were not working at all. Many guests had the same complaints. The front desk kept sending engineers to the rooms regarding the air but they just said the temperature is locked. The casino itself was too warm to gamble, left and gambled at other hotels.

Attention to detail. The bedding and bath towels were lovely. I had 3 lights in my room that did not work and the bathroom lights were not favorable. I appreciate the free parking however, the instructions to get in and out of the garage were quite poor. They offered texting communication and they were either slow or did not get back to me when I used it.

Would not recommend The room is nice enough for an inexpensive hotel. The bed was comfortable in the room felt clean. Unfortunately, those are the only positive comments I have for this hotel. I called ahead to add a name to the room because my boyfriend was going to arrive before me. They assured me that his name was added. When my boyfriend showed up, he was unable to check in and had to wait several hours for me to arrive. We requested turndown service and they never came to do it. We requested a late checkout and paid $20 to leave later however we were woken up three times that morning by someone knocking and asking if we were checking out that day. I did get my $20 refunded after complaining that we were unable to sleep in. I still am not sure who that was knocking on our door but the hotel assured us it was a hotel employee. On top of that, the sink in our room didn’t drain properly. The device in the elevators that required a key to access the rooms wasn’t working correctly, so it wasn’t very secure. There is a major communication issue in this hotel, and I will not be returning. Unfortunately, the surrounding downtown area also felt very unsafe and often scary.
