My go-to place downtown Vegas My go- to place downtown. Always efficient and courteous staff. Great food nearby in Pizza Rocks. Close (within 1 block) but not too close to Freemont so it's decently quiet at night. Decent workout area and fantastic pool set-up. Can't wait to come back in June.

Fun week. Check-in was flawless room was clean and ready. The casino was clean, plenty of table games. Staff were very friendly. Bartenders were quick and attentive. The pool was nice. My only complain about the pool would be there’s not enough chairs too many couches. I like the fact that the gym is open 24 hours a day. I’m from an East Coast time zone so I’m up early and can go to the gym very early for Vegas time. If I would make one suggestion about the gym, they need more equipment maybe a pulldown machine. The deals at freedom beat restaurant are excellent. The prime rib special was excellent. Every time I had three times the cheese cards were the best I’ve ever had. Made service was excellent in the rooms.

..............¡!!!!¡¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@@@@@@@!!!!!!@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Reserved 2 queen rooms for a reason and was told its a first come first serve basis. We got a queen room and a king room so someone had to sleep on a twin roll out. Receptionist was rude and very unhelpful. The rest of the hotel was very clean and nice.

Just What We Needed Without All the Glitz of a Property on the Strip Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Grand. Great location and staff was friendly and accommodating! (Shout out to Joey!) Stayed in a 2-room suite in the Gallery Tower which was away from the noise of Fremont Street. HIGHLY recommend. Rooms were huge, and came with a small fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable, and pillows are awesome! Our group enjoyed the $3 beer and hotdog or chicken taco deal in the casino, and the Art Bar was perfect for specialty coffee and light breakfast. Pool deck gets crowded, and unless you plan to rent a cabana, you’ll need to get there early to grab a lounge chair as they are not plentiful. Pool was nice, however, getting in and out is tricky as there are no stairs getting up to the edge of the pool. Instead, you need to sit on the wet edge and swing yourself around to get in. One night, they drained the pool, and the water was ice cold the next day so you couldn’t even attempt to get in until around 2pm when the water started to get warm. Condition of the hotel could use improvement. On our floor, the floors were extremely wonky, and they posed a safety hazard, especially if you arrived back to your room in an intoxicated state. While waiting for food one night at the Freedom Beat, I heard a loud gushing sound only to turn around and see what looked like a waterfall coming out of the ceiling onto a table and the floor. Apparently, it was from a pipe off of the pool. Property is in the process of being sold, so it would seem they don’t want to spend the money to make improvements. Casino slots are very tight. Had better luck on Fremont. Overall, we would stay again and we loved the location and proximity to Fremont Street. We love live music, so this was a good fit.

Downtown Grand - Meh The air conditioner is so loud it drowns out the tv. The front desk needs more staff, 30 minute wait to check in with at least 20 people waiting behind me. Staff had zero sense of urgency to check people in. The two self check in kiosks both out of order. Checking in online, which I did, did absolutely no good.
