Terrible 'resort' experience I will not stay here again. Spoke to the front desk management, who wanted to comp $50 for all the issues stated below. And then told me that I didn't need to come in person after all - but said I needed to ask for an appointment. I had said I would not be able to go in person to the first person who suggested it. They told me being in person was the only option. Here are my reasons for disliking my stay. 1. While ironing my shirt, it stained the shirt, and now it is unwearable. 2. The second sink in our bathroom was never fixed after two requests. One was fixed, not both. 3. There is ONE small towel bar for a room that sleeps four people. AND, this was only installed AFTER I complained. 4. There is no place to put your bar of soap after washing your hands except to balance it on the rim of the sink bowl. After COVID-19, one would think a plastic dish would be sufficient. 5. This hotel has no way to change rooms unless you show up IN PERSON between 12 and 2. So, I would have needed to change my vacation plans to rectify a situation with being assigned a poor room. 6. Only two free wifi devices for a room that sleeps four. It seems like a money grab, if ever there was one. 7. The room is nice in some ways and ugly in others. For example, the carpet appears unraveled at the edges, the furniture is damaged and frayed in the corners, and the curtains in the living room do not operate with the 'push of a button.' Overall, the room is stuck in the 80s and seems unfinished as it is. 8. Upon arrival, the bed was missing a sheet between the duvet and the people sleeping in it. I had to request a sheet the next day to rectify the problem myself. While I'm at it, the mattresses are terrible.

Legendary flamingo is now a dumpster fire Terrible experience. Requested extra pillows as my sister on the trip recently had surgery, after multiple calls, even after requesting at check-in, 5 hours later 2 pillows arrived delivered by an incredibly rude employee. No shower curtain or door on the shower so water ran into the main room after several requests for a shower curtain?? We slipped several times & after complaing to management & asking if flamingo is having financial trouble as badic requests & services are no longer supplied, we were sent a shower curtain. The flamingo has gone way downhill & is more of a college party resort than the historic famed resort of vegas past. Only Bugsy & Meyers restaurant, run by #meyerlansky is worth going to flamingo, otherrwise thete may be no hope of keeping this dump afloat.

Room disappointment. When I booked my room I got the go room I got to hotel around 12:30 paid for early check in so I could get my room. So when I arrived went to kiosk checked in got keys for room got to room noticed it was the flamingo room so I went downstairs and they said it was a free upgrade so I went back to room and just kept it because had to go meet friends. After a while looked around room the outlet plates where hanging off not secured and also I hated when I took a shower the shampoo and soap dispenser were on the side of shower usually to the back so made no room to shower either I was hitting the dispenser and the curtain was sticking to my body on other side. Flamingo has always been my go to this is the first time I was disappointed.

The Dirty Flamingo I had high hopes for this place because of the renovations and the pool but it definitely fell short on every aspect. Overall, our room was filthy. Tape stuck to the walls from a previous party I’m assuming. Candy wrappers and candy on the floor. Bathroom was disgusting, hair and grime in the shower. Comforter was stained and dirty. The mirror in the bathroom was hanging on by a thread and not accessible for fear that it would fall off. We were on our way home from a National Park Trip so I had my kids to make it worse; afraid to let them touch anything. The pools were running at limited capacity and the slide is only accessible on the weekends. Our room was HOT and smelled of cigarette smoke. I called front desk as soon as we walked in and they sent maintenance right away. Come to find out, the ac doesn’t turn on until check in which is at 3:30 [we paid for early check in] so maintenance had to come and manually turn it on. And as far as the smoke, well they have a non smoking policy but there wasn’t much they could do about it aside from sending housekeeping to spray some air freshener at which I passed on. Honestly, disappointed we even paid for our stay. Will not be back to the Flamingo.
