Great location We argued over the star rating here. It’s clean, the location is great and the theming is cute. Our daughter loved the colours and the Flamingos. The customer service is not good. We arrived at 1600 to check-in waited over an hour in the line and then the receptionist had the wrong surname on our booking (our was correct which we showed her, the hotel had a shortened surname for some reasons). She insisted we call the booking platform to have it amended, they send through a confirmation show it’s was correct, she was extra rude and would not accept it, that is until I demanded to see a manager at that point she updated it herself. By the time we got to the room it was almost 6pm and too late to use the pool (the two main reasons we booked were the location and pool). The next day we tried to use the pool, the majority of the family pools were closed off when I enquired as to why I was told by staff they prioritise the “GO Pool” that families can’t use and there weren’t enough lifeguard to cover the area…….. I see I’m not the only person to make this complaint. It’s the middle of summer in Nevada it’s simply not good enough that it was standing room only and very much like people soup. We didn’t end up staying, the water was cloudy with a thin layer of oil over the top (I assume sun cream). If you’re not worried about staff being rude and have no need of a pool, it’s probably a good choice.

Noisy pool I chose to stay on the “garden view” side because I was concerned about the lights from The Strip shining in at night. The curtains on the garden side were fine, so that likely wouldn’t have been an issue. What WAS an issue was the NOISE! Every day from 9-6 when the pool is open, they have “live DJs” playing “music.” We were on the 17th floor and all we heard was thump thump thump ALL DAY LONG! Luckily we weren’t spending a lot of time in the room, but there were days when we wanted to sleep in and couldn’t. It was rediculous. We went down to the pool area just to look around, I got an instant headache and you couldn’t have a conversation at all. It was very busy, so I suppose some people like it, but I prefer a quiet, relaxing pool experience myself. I was disappointed as I had brought my bathing suit and had planned to relax by the pool on my last day there after my friend went home.

horrible hotel, great location The room was extremely dirty and worn out. The shower leaked out onto the bathroom floor. Fixtures falling off the walls. Dirt buildup in bathroom and stains on walls.

Never again Check in using the kiosk was inefficient. Several of the kiosks were out of service. When we found one that did work, it wouldn't accept the credit card we repeatedly tried to insert. The couple checking in at the kiosk next to us was experiencing the same issue. Nobody ever came over to offer any assistance and after about 30 minutes of trying, it finally read the card. We had several people in our group and some got rooms in the renovated section and some in the older section of the hotel. I would definitely recommend requesting the renovated section for your stay. In the older section where we stayed, the carpets in the hallway were wet along the entire length. They had fans going constantly to try to dry this, but it seems like there is some kind of leak that is causing this as the day after we checked in, we also had wet carpet in our room. We attempted to contact the front desk about this, however the phone in our room also did not work and no matter what button we pushed, we got a beeping signal. Day 2... we went to the adult pool and we rented a daybed. It was a $60 fee and a required $300 minimum spend, which isn't difficult to do because one drink is $40. I will say that our server at the pool, Anthony, was wonderful and very attentive. BUT I cannot say the same for the unnecessarily rude security guard that approached us as the pool was closing. One of my friends had too much to drink and Anthony had brought over some water so we could help her get rehydrated and leave the pool area. I explained this to the security guard (whose name I wish I would've gotten), and he stated "ok cool.... you know that conversations are mobile and you can get walking and talking." My son explained that we are going we are just having her drink a little water first and he made a sarcastic comment toward my son. We got my friend up and we were helping her walk toward the exit of the pool with the rude guard walking in front of us. As we were walking by him, my friend lost her balance and bumped into him, at which time he turned to her and said "touch me again and I'll drop you!" My son (who works as a bouncer in a bar also) said "hey man we are leaving. It's not necessary to talk to a woman like that. She didn't do anything to you." To which he replied "you can get it too. This is my house." I have never experienced such unnecessarily rude behavior and especially after spending almost $600 at the pool, I expect to be treated with far more respect than that. The following day, we checked out of one of the rooms we had booked and about 30 minutes after we did so, I realized that I left my passport in the hotel safe. I went to the front desk and the agent said "well it might be in the lost and found you can check there." I said we literally just checked out of the room, I doubt it was even cleaned yet. Can I just go back in and check for it? She said "you'll probably have to wait a while, if it's even in there....". I said that was an unacceptable answer as I needed my passport to travel home and asked to speak with someone else. That person confirmed that nobody had been in the room and she was able to give me a temporary key to retrieve my items. Some of the employees at this hotel do not seem to know the meaning of hospitality and if left a poor impression. Additionally, several times when we would use various elevators to get to our room, the key card wouldn't work to access the floor number and we had to get out and wait for a different elevator. I come to Vegas twice a year and there are many better places to stay where you are valued as a guest and the staff will go out of their way to ensure your experience is positive. This place is not it.
