mayor cup soccer tournament The staff (Ruthy) and Manager (Reyna) were so helpful. Ruthy greets you with the biggest smile when you arrive. We were there for four days for a soccer tournament.Breakfast was great. The servers were friendly and very respectful. The room was cleaned and nice. We had two queen size beds.

Sketchy Neighborhood; beautiful room. There is a reason this facility is so low priced. It is in a sketchy neighborhood. I would not stay here if you are a single female. Granted, there is an USA Airfare Base across the street, however, on either side of the hotel is a plasma donating business and a very low income apartment complex. I also saw a couple of homeless people within a half a mile. I was worried about my vehicle, which was justified, as my diesel fuel was siphoned out when I left the next morning. The room was beautiful and clean, which was really nice. However, the breakfast area was super hot (at least 80 degrees). And, they only have one coffee dispenser, so I had to wait 10 minutes while a new carafe was brewed. A $100 should be invested in another so one is always ready to be replaced when empty.

I can't believe that this is a Holiday Inn...for all the wrong reasons I'm almost 60 years old and I've never stayed in a Holiday Inn of such poor quality. There's mold in the bathroom, rusty air conditioning grates, paint cracking and peeling off the walls, dark stains on the carpet, missing bathroom fixtures, you name it. How is this a Holiday Inn? It's more akin to some ramshackle motel in the seedy part of any town and believe me, when your hotel has a plasma collection place next door like this one does, it's in a seedy part of town. I'm not sure how corporate headquarters has allowed this hotel to become so decrepit but yet here we are. I mean , hotels like this really dilute the Holiday Inn brand name. Oh, and did I mention that there's a security guard by the front door? First time I've ever seen that in a USA Holiday Inn. The only saving grace to this hotel was that all my interactions with management were pleasant hence the additional star to what would normally be a one star stay. Having said that, I can't in good conscience justify ever staying in this hotel again unless it gets completely renovated.

Avoid this hotel I spent five days/four nights at this hotel. It was on the per diem list for my institution, so I figured it would be at least acceptable. However, in the end I feel like I need an "I survived Holiday Inn Express-Nellis" t-shirt. Here are the highlights (low-lights, really): - The shower drain was clogged and the staff argued with me before fixing it. - The TV didn't always work. - The Keurig was disgusting inside...corroded, rusty, etc. - The pancake maker was broken the entire time. - They continually ran out of coffee during breakfast; the coffee was also lukewarm. - Housekeeping did my room only once, at my request (the "do not disturb" sign was not on the door at any point). - The hotel is in a very sketchy neighborhood (not the hotel's fault, but I should mention this for potential patrons). - The hotel advertises itself as "14 km from the Bellagio." It's actually 14 miles...a long way. - There was one functional ice maker in the entire hotel. - The manager was often not reachable. When I was finally able to talk to him, he argued with me about my tax-exempt status as a federal employee...even after I showed him how the policy was not applicable to my situation. All in all, this hotel is seriously making me revisit my Honors membership. I suggest everyone give it a wide berth when visiting Nellis AFB or Vegas in general.

Horrible No air conditioning; old furniture; stripped tub faucet; horrible water pressure; The worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever stayed at. I don’t know who owns this hotel, but it is past over due to be renovated.
