La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Las Vegas Summerlin Tech

Quiet convenience. Very convenient location for all I wanted to do. Quiet location; friendly staff; good free breakfast. I felt very welcome here. Some minor updates needed in bathroom to make it nicer. This is my second stay at this La Quinta and I would stay here again.

Overnight Check in staff not very helpful. Rooms are old and rundown. Breakfast was just ok. Price was good and easy freeway access.

TERRIBLE, don't even think of staying here. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel is totally disgusting. Ice machines are out of order except the one in the 3rd floor laundry room, which has food wrappers and trash on the floor and smells like vomit. A lady was doing laundry for a large family when I got my ice...like 5 garbage bags of laundry...not a person casually traveling. Stairway smells like urine, graffiti in the elevator, exterior card access doors are all unlocked. Seems that people live there, more than likely a homeless voucher hotel. I was awoken by a large dog barking at 2am, sounded like a german shepherd? Trash in the hallways. Stains on the carpets. You can smell weed in the hallways, and u can hear kids screaming and people arguing over their very loud televisions.. Sketchy stuff in the parking lot, some guy selling "something" from the back of his SUV...looked like a drive thru, people drinking and smoking in the parking lot. Trashcans in the hallways to catch water or sewage leaks. Breakfast was a joke, cereal dispenser were mostly just powder, which means they never rotate the stuff. Decided to skip that. Freeway noise comes right through the closed windows, AC makes a loud clunk when it turns on...nice to wake up every hour to the AC or some sport bike on the freeway. Don't mess up like me...stay anywhere else. I just wanted a nice place to stay for a couple of days without a casino...whoops!

Overcharged We stayed three nights with an estimated $525 and at the end of the stay they mysteriously added $400 in extra charges.

Hair and stains! Would you feel confident in getting a good nights rest, sadly this place has changed! I really believe they should hire more housekeepers! The sheets did not feel clean and I felt itchy. You know that feeling when you feel confident you can go to sleep. Well, I was lacking this confidence and I second questioned myself. And don’t walk barefoot, your feet will grab onto unknown hairs like a magnet, hair that is not yours and does not belong to you! Very sad. This hotel has lost its charm from years past! We used to always choose this hotel because of its closeness to the hospital. But I think management has changed! We were there visiting a family member at the nearby hospital. I wanted to use the computer station. And it was not in order. Many things seem to be out of order or broken! Another thing, It was hot outside and ice machines do not work. When we checked in, the room had a bad odor. Completely disappointed!
