Planet Hollywood One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in! I originally booked a room with one king size bed. Asked at reception if we could get a room with 2 queens, the receptionist was so helpful and got us the room & this room had 2 bathroom sinks - bonus! Our room looked right on to the Bellagio fountains & Paris hotel. Comfy beds too. Lots to do in the hotel that you could get lost - I did the first couple of nights. 10 minutes from the airport - taxi only cost $25 for the 5 of us. Ubers from the hotel were so quick to arrive, no need to hang around for ages. Back exit takes you right outside the Bellagio. I would come back here if I was to come to Vegas again.

Planet Hollywood needs a makeover! Planet Hollywood was my go-to place in Vegas but not anymore. I stayed at Planet Hollywood over the 4th of July weekend and to describe it in a word, 'dated'. Yes, it is an ideal location strip wise and the room I had was a decent sized room, and the staff were friendly, but the decor really could use a serious makeover! It is uninspiring and dreary comparing to other properties I've been to on the Vegas strip.

Planet Hollywood is run down and has terrible service. Do yourself a favor and choose a different hotel. Planet Hollywood is terrible. It’s run down and the service was insulting. At check-in we decided to upgrade our room and we specifically ask if the room had a desk, since my partner and I would be working during our stay for 7 days. I was told it did. My parents got a room right next to us. They also upgraded. Once we got to the room it indeed did NOT have a desk. There was a table which was broken. We went all the way back to the front desk. I told the kid behind the counter that I was sold a room with a desk and there wasn’t one. His reply was “what kind of desk do you want?” I told him “a desk that you can sit at!” He then left us by going to a back room. The girl next to him checked in two groups of people before turning to us asking if we needed help. To which I shrugged and said to her “he just left us”. He came back 10 mins later and ultimately said there wasn’t anything he could do for us. In the time that we checked in, parking the car and getting to the room and back down, all of the rooms were booked. The only option was to pay even more money for a suite. He called the manager over “Rodrigo”. Told him what was happening. There was a back and forth with the manager to which he told us just to cancel our reservation. I was pissed. The lack of hospitality was staggering. Both individuals were so rude in how they were talking to us. The only thing the manager could do for us was to say, come back tomorrow to see what I can do. Once we got back to our rooms after eating dinner. we realized neither of our mini fridges were working. We brought food and drinks with us. Our bathtub only had warm water, not hot water. There is a large chunk of wallpaper peeling off the wall near the bathtub. All of the elevators in the north tower have broken mirrors and broken floor tiles. I could go on … but you get the picture.

Nice stay We travelled as a couple and got in early. Paid the extra fee for an early check in and that was Ok with us. We stayed on the 27th floor in a Ultra Hip room which was clean, comfortable bed, nice size room, WIFI worked well and room was well equipped and cleaned daily. Casino floor is well maintained and we found the hotel to be well placed on the strip. Nice to have the shopping mall below with a wide variety of restaurants for all budgets near by. The only downside and that is why the 4 star review is the pool area. Mr. Bennet in your answers to various customers regarding you will take into consideration various reviews there does not seem to have any movement. The lack of sunbeds around, especially the family pool is unacceptable. We were there 5 days and most of the cabanas were empty all afternoon probably because of the cost which is ridiculous. Please discuss with the hotel management what you can do about this situation. I am sure that if there were more sunbeds available you would sell more from the bar. We had stayed at the Mirage a couple years ago where there were sunbeds everywhere and free, the bar girls were busy. Yes there were a few cabanas but not more than sun beds. A suggestion where you could put sunbeds on one side of the pool and sunbeds on the other. This comment is there to be constructive as we have also stayed at your Hotel in Costa Mujeres Mexico and enjoyed our stay there as well. Regards
