Imperial palace energy When your review is the best part of your stay. Pardon the typos...I don't have the energy to fix them. My review of The Linq (it was nicer as Imperial Palace so that's saying a lot): If you'd had butt implants done recently, this pool is where you go to shake them. This only applies if you're over 50 and have a tribal tattoo however. I think I'll start at the end and then go back to the beginning. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to shower this morning because the bathroom light stopped working. I think I have an ear infection and partial hearing loss from the swamp cooler I slept next to. The door didn't close all the way so we had to slam it. This was a treat for all of our neighbors. The room numbers weren't marked when we got off of the elevator, so we had to ask the house keeper who did not speak English. She had to pantomime directions to our room. I feel like she missed her calling with Improv. Water is $10 here. A cocktail is $25 to start. I get that it's Vegas but it didn't even have a cherry in it. For $25 I'd like a little razzle dazzle and a smile. Self parking is $25 and about half a mile away...when it's 106 degrees out they should reduce this. We opted for valet for $40 and then tipping the valet and bellman because we were just over it after driving for over 4 hours through the desert. We arrived at 2:36. I was scheduled to perform at their comedy club and didn't want to wear disgusting clothes for another hour until the room was ready at 4pm (everywhere else in the country it's ready at 3.) If you want to go to your room before 4pm that's another $25. The pool closes at 5 by the way. 5pm in Las Vegas. Had we known that we would have been viewing strangers colons while trying to eat our nachos-we would have skipped it. The front desk lady had the personality of anyone you've ever encountered at HR, the DMV or the post office...this wasn't the job for her. I could have avoided this exchange entirely, but unfortunately they will not speak to you on the phone. It doesn't matter if you were just shot and are bleeding out in their lobby...you're still speaking to someone in India who cares even less. The nachos weren't bad after drinking $50 worth of alcohol. I didn't bother gambling because I elected to save my money for the water. All in all...I really got that vip experience.

Stayed a lot here this time was rough Staff at check in and checkout were rude and not helpful. Any question was met with sarcasm and rush. Rewards program was not accepted at multiple locations.

Didn't suck The room was good, the bar expensive, after all it is Las Vegas. We ate it the Guy Fieri restaurant on site, it was very good. But then I was in and out in one day so take this review with a grain of salt

Typically have a good experience except this time I typically love The Linq. This time, I was a little frustrated bc everyone I asked help from either was not true telling or very rude. First, I asked if my friend and I can be put next to each other, she told me “of course”, came right back and said “You’re all set”. Then when rooms generated far, I questioned her. Her response well that’s as close as I could get you. Okay…. THEN SAY THAT. Don’t say “you’re all set” . Anyways, the parking is a monster. The key cards didn’t work it charged me every time $35 to leave. When I complained the same woman said “oh let me fix it, regenerated the card and said ‘ you’re all set we’ll refund you later!’ …” We were NOT set bc the cards still didn’t work and paid another $35. When I went back again, the RUDEST woman told me the parking garage doesn’t work we have to call for help and they’ll let us out, EVEN WITH LONG LINES WAITING. Extremely rude, but more honest and helpful. When I asked her about of next refund we were now due, she said the The Linq doesn’t refund it is the parking company. I mentioned the other rep stated they would do it, she said that was incorrect, i needed to talk to an attendant at the kiosk for parking. I went, no one answered. Needless to say we spent about $105 not refunded in the parking garage.
