Loved it! The Excalibur was great overall! For being an older hotel and the rooms looking a little dated, the overall experience was great! The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Usually I can’t sleep well at hotels, but did not have any issues here. The water pressure in the shower, was the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. It was quiet, we barely heard any outside noise in our room. We were lucky enough to be on the first floor, so we never had to wait for elevator. The digital key card is so slick, and the ability to print new key cards was amazing too. Food options were great, and there was a great variety of slot machines, both older style and new. The only reason I’m not give this a 5 star rating is because the room did have a musty smell to it, was noticeable every time we walked in the room. Overall would recommend the Excalibur to anyone who wants a comfortable, clean experience.

Disappointing Stay My friends are Caesar’s Diamond and Diamond Plus members. I’ve been loyal to MGM for the past 5 years but after staying with them in Tahoe last year I decided to give Caesar’s a try. My friends wanted to stay at the Linq given its central location and the pool’s lively reputation—especially over a holiday weekend. We booked under my Caesar’s rewards account. Check in went smoothly. I asked if any upgrades were available but none were, understandable given the holiday weekend. However, my friend perceived a dismissive attitude from the front desk staff, which later felt reflective of how the rest of the stay unfolded. We had a pool view room, and while it was relatively quiet (the windows did a good job of blocking out noise), the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned or restocked. The bigger issue, though, was the lack of housekeeping despite being asked our preference at check-in for daily service. We had to call multiple times to get fresh towels, housekeeping, and basic toiletry refills. Not only did our room go untouched all weekend but the toiletries were never refilled. We were out of body wash by day 2. We even stopped housekeeping staff in the hallway twice to thank them and let them know they were welcome to the tip left in our room. Both times we were told our room was not on their list. That felt disorganized at best, and intentional at worst. Surprisingly, the pool was very quiet all weekend—not the lively experience we expected based on its reputation. This wasn’t necessarily a problem, just unexpected. The casino floor felt unusually tight. I hit several bonuses with minimal payout—not a big deal as I only play what I’m willing to lose. However, what really stood out was during our last night, we spent over five hours across the casino (slots, craps, roulette) and not once were approached by a cocktail server. We ended up buying all our drinks at the bar, which was disappointing given the amount of time and money we spent on the floor. I also visited the rewards desk to add receipts from Dunkin (located on-site), only to be told they were third-party and didn’t count toward my account. This contradicts what I’ve experienced at other Caesars properties where my Diamond-member friends have used points at Starbucks without issue. I am choosing to spend money on property, this is frustrating and a little deceptive to say the least. I’ve been to Vegas many times and have never felt compelled to leave a negative review until now. Maybe The LINQ simply wasn’t the right property, but even that shouldn’t excuse the lackluster experience. My friends, familiar with the Caesars brand, agreed that the service fell short of what’s typically expected. They believe I may have been treated differently due to my lack of status, which is unfortunate if true. They encouraged me to share this experience, and have submitted their own concerns to management as well. First impressions matter—especially when trying to build loyalty—and this stay left me second-guessing whether Caesars is worth the switch.

Fantastic stay Reading reviews I was extremely worried about coming here and I did try to cancel but it was too late ! We were pleasantly surprised on arrival. Rooms were a good size and were super clean and bathroom looked new. Beds were comfortable and rooms were cleaned every day. Location was extremely central and there are some great bars and restaurants nearby.

Linq is an ABSOLUTE bargain and very solid Strip Hotel. The rooms are exceptionally clean and updated and the cost/location combination may be the best on the strip. I would not recommend this hotel if the pool experience or luxury on-site shopping is a big part of your Vegas trips - other than that, I literally have no complaints.
