Thanks to Frank for finding my hat I lost my cowboy hat at the Westgate Hotel last Friday morning. I didn’t realize till the evening and I called the hotel and spoke to Lost and Found and they said they did not have the hat. So I went back to the hotel to talk to somebody in person, and I spoke to Frank Deluca in lost and found. Told him I lost my cowboy hat and again I gave the description he called lost and found and he said they have a hat, a black one just like yours. So Frank really put the effort into looking for my hat and he found it for me. I’ll always be appreciated to him.

BE AWARE OF ANOTHER HOTEL WITH PARKING FEES. AND TAX ADDED! We pull in to see a show on Friday July 11th. We discover that a new parking fee has been implemented - $25! As a 46 year local I was surprised and disappointed. Plus you actually get charged TAX! Never heard of such a thing. We were planning on seeing a show and dinner afterwords. Since we only had a free 3 hour "locals" window we left the hotel and had dinner elsewhere. Our stay was just over 2 hours qualifying for free locals parking. Today I discover the $26.25 total was actually charged. I'm talking to an excellent agent who is trying to get my payment reversed but she was told a special event was happening that weekend and everyone had to pay. We noted I was specifically told by a cage cashier that I certainly qualified for the free parking on Friday! I made certain I verified what the usher at the showroom told me. We will see how this all ends. I'm certain of one thing now: my family will never again go see a show and stand in line for a meet and greet. Nor will we ever chance trying to eat at any restaurant at Westgate. We will never pay a parking fee for the privilege of spending more money at ANY casino.

Beware! Our vacation experience as a current Westgate Resort and Casino Owner LONG POST BUT WORTH THE READ.... My husband and I checked in to Westgate Resort and Casino, Las Vegas the evening of June 28th. We were assigned room 1049 (central). Upon entering the room, we found that the air conditioning wasn’t working very well. There was a pill on the floor and hair on the jacuzzi. The bed was hard so I requested maintenance for the AC, deodorizer as the room had a funning smell (like raw sewage) and comforters or mattress pads to soften the bed. After a while, it seemed as though the room began to cool down so we decided to stay in the room. Maintenance did not respond nor did housekeeping bring additional padding for the bed. We reported this to our concierge who also put in requests on our behalf. While looking for silverware in the room, we discovered an open bottle of vodka, orange juice and an unopened bottle of champagne in the cabinet. We poured the vodka and orange juice out and put the unopened bottle of champagne in the refrigerator to consume at a later time. On June 29th in the early part of the day, we again made another request for blankets/mattress pads. We were out of the room most of the day and returned around 10:15 p.m. to discover that the blankets or mattress pad still had not been delivered. Two additional requests were made and at 11:00 p.m. were finally delivered to us. By this time the smell of raw sewage was stronger and during the night, the toilet began to run off and on, like filling up the tank. On June 30th, I demanded another room. While packing up to move into the new room, we discovered that the bottle of unopened champagne was gone. Someone came into our room and removed it! This is why they tell you not to leave valuables in your room!! We reported it to our Concierge. We were then moved to room 1249 (central). This room was no better. It too had a stronger odor of raw sewage. On July 1st, I requested another room and was assigned to room 550 (central). This room was nicer and bigger than the others, however, that smell was still present (faintly). We purchased a can of Lysol which made it bearable. I talked to the manager about the inconvenience of having to move twice after the initial check-in and requested some type of compensation for our troubles. He informed me that we had been given a $100 resort credit, however, no one told us! Our last day was July 5th. We checked out at 2:30 a.m. to catch an early flight. We are currently fighting with them over a double charge at the Viva Coffee & Espresso shop located at the resort. We are Westgate Owners at the same resort. When we purchased 2 years ago, they gave us a tour of the NICE part of the resort which had been beautifully remodeled and decorated. They put us in the oldest part of the resort which is dated hasn’t been touched in YEARS. We will keep our timeshare but will not stay at Westgate Resort and Casino EVER AGAIN.

Not very good customer service They ask if I wanted to upgrade to a better room for a charge of course, and I did. But my room wasn't upgraded. It was the same room I booked online. They would not help me when I tried to ask about it.
