Overpriced but convenient to JFK. I'd look elsewhere!! I normally write only positive reviews, but I thought this hotel was extremely over priced at $350 nt. The room had an odor (urine, not sure) and it smelled. The mattress springs squeaked if you sat on the bed and it was not comfortable. The furniture was outdated, showed much use, and needed renovation badly. The bathroom had a ceiling fan that didn't work. Breakfast was all carbs, no protein, no yogurt, no eggs, mostly bread with jelly or cream cheese. I gave it a 2 star only because it did have good coffee, (altho no creamer), and there was a shuttle service (a guy who drove like a New Yorker I guess), v fast but avoided a few potential accidents. I would never stay there again.

Welcoming/Great hospitality My fiancé and I needed a last minute place to stay. We had a very long day and walked in to see what was available. Joan was attentive and was able to help us. We work in the hospitality business and love to recognize people. We walked in not only on a Saturday night but also it being cinco de mayo weekend. She got us a room right away and was able to get into a room without waiting. So thank you so much! We fly out the next morning, so this hotel is very close to the JFK airport which is convenient.

Stay away Shuttle service is a joke! I was standing 2 hours waiting for it, they claim the driver was there but how is it possible that I missed it if I was there standing outside, freezing, looking constantly for their van. Was calling back and forth 5 times. I even asked if they can call me once the driver is at the terminal - I heard they DONT DO THAT. Eventuality after long flight and standing outside of the terminal at night I gave up and took a taxi. Once I got to the hotel, I asked to speak with the manager. But he wasnt there as it was night. The next morning manager was prepared holding the letter with the version of the story from the night staff. Wasnt very empathetic or interested about my opinion. He told me that the head manager Georgiette will call me. Never heard from her till today. Lack of professionalism, responsibility or caring about guests comfort is SHOCKING. Room and breakfast were depressing. NEVER AGAIN

Avoid like the PLAGUE! Do not stay at this property, there is nothing to like. Firstly, I cannot believe how RUDE the guy (morning receptionist) is at reception. I called for the shuttle once we landed. He answered the phone with “yes?” I asked, is this the Five Towns Inn? He said “What do you want”. This is where it all went downhill. He said it’s 7am, check in isn’t until 3pm. I said, I know that, but your shuttle says 24 hours and we have just landed. He responded to say, well it is, but what are you gonna do when you get here? Just sit in our lounge?. I honestly could not believe this conversation. Finally, he said someone would collect us in 20mins, but I’d need to call in 15mins to remind him, otherwise they will forget to come. I called again and we would not find the collection point. He then said “can you not read the signs?”. I was then fuming at this point. I found the collection, which was at ARRIVALS. 1 hour and 40 mins later, we were collected. When we arrived the same receptionist was sitting on his computer, skipping through rap music and didn’t even acknowledge us until around 3mins later. It was strange, creepy and rude. It felt like we were in a nightmare. We went into our rooms, they look nothing like the photos. Dirty, mould in the bathrooms, broken lamps, just awful. Then to top it all off, 2 hours before check out we had a maid BANGING on our door asking when was we leaving. We explained we will leave at checkout time. 30mins later, another maid came along, banging on our door again saying “open up your door” we opened our door again and she said, we need to clean this room, so when are you leaving? Bare in mind this is 1 hour and 30mins before checkout. I told her, we will be leaving at checkout and she left. 30mins before checkout, the same first maid came banging on our door, this time she didn’t stop knocking until we answered (we were half dressed, getting ready) when we answered the door, she said the boss said you need to go, we need the room for the next people. Never in my life have I had a worse experience at a hotel. Avoid like the plague!!!!!
