Horrible Management The manager Edna Thomas is so RUDE, disrespectful and has no empathy!! We stayed here the night Hurricane Beryl hit Texas. The morning of the same day, the power went out, Edna and her team handled the evacuation process horribly.. We have her on video telling a guest that she would have the authorities drag them out. They did not have any empathy for guests that had no where to go and was trying to find other Hotels that had power. I called a few days later to see if they would be refunding our stay (As we were told we would be) and Edna told me that we basically stayed the night so she is not giving us back a dime (Her words) and hung up on me! I called corporate, filed a complaint online and by phone. The young lady on the phone from Hiltons corporate mailed me my refund. I don’t like for anyone to lose their job but this Manager should be replaced!

The lady who works here named JANKEY is a nightmare. JANKEY is the rudest, meanest person I have ever dealt with and should be fired. She should not work in hospitality.!!! Or anywhere near other humans. *Update 2* in response to the reply from Hilton Hampton Inn, I believe there is block of my phone number at the hotel, as I have been unable to get through. Here’s what happened on Tuesday July 9, 2024..after speaking with a representative at the Hilton 800 phone number about the incident, I was promptly given back 2 rooms at the hotel, then Iwas transferred to Jankey at the front desk to complete the reservation. After the initial representative hung up the line, Jankey said she was cancelling my rooms IMMEDIATELY and that I was blocked and informed the front desk members that if I came in they should not give me rooms and to block me from my reservation that was made by the representative for July 11-July 24 *Update* my instinct was right. The front desk is hanging up on me and someone named Jankie that finally answers proceeds to yell at me there are NO ROOMS!! STOP CALLING!! WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING!!?? I try to tell her I was told to call back through the day to check on room availability but she doesn’t even let me finish, also that I have been trying to get hold of the manager but yea she hung up on me and I’ve been subsequently hung up on about 12 more times. Not a good representation of Hilton. —————————————- My stay here was 50 stars, until it wasn’t. Stevie and Sparkle have been so kind with me and I appreciate them so very much. I had 2 TSA rooms booked here for one month due to a storm. Just shy of Two weeks, we have another storm and the power here is knocked out. Fire marshal makes everyone leave. I leave at around 3pm. I was told to call and check back if they were open periodically. I asked a NUMBER of questions before I left that led me to believe I would still have my rooms when they opened. I called every hour multiple times, sometimes more than every hour for 6 hours and the phones were still down and finally about 9 pm Kayla answers and informs me all rooms are booked and there is no availability. I am at this point, not understanding how all rooms are booked and I was completely out of having a place to stay when I had rooms just a few hours ago for an extended stay. Now I have nowhere to stay and I have my grandchildren, my mom with dementia & I have nowhere to. Take her to the bathroom or shower her or anything and I am told to call back in the morning. So I call at 8 am and Kayla once again informs me the night is booked. I ask to speak to manager, Mrs Edna and she (Kayla)says she is busy & offers me her voicemail which I already know says it’s full and you cannot leave a message at this time, since I’ve been calling for 6 hours. I ask can I leave my number and now it’s been almost 2 hours. I expected a call back by now, so I call again. The phone rings for 5 minutes. Kayla finally answers and I ask if Mrs Edna is available and she says yes. Then she comes back on the line asks who is calling, I tell her, she places me on hold again, comes back to the line and says Mrs Edna is not available and is in a meeting. At this point, I’m frustrated and feel I’m being avoided. Also, WHY wouldn’t you call/text/email the people who were ALREADY booked here and tell them the power is on ? And I know this capability exist because they texted me every couple days asking how my stay was going. I feel blindsided by the actions of the hotel. So currently my issue is unresolved, I am hot, frustrated, basically homeless and overwhelmed with what’s on my plate and I am feeling very zero stars today for a place that started off as one of the best hotels.

Difficult to believe….. Just finished the third of three partial weeks staying here as I was being treated at M.D. Anderson. For this six-night reservation, I called the front desk and asked for the MDA rate for Sunday through Saturday. No problem. When I checked in Sunday evening, the gentleman at the desk verbally acknowledged a Saturday check out. When I left the room a bit after 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, I called the deck and indicated that I was out. Received the bill via email this afternoon and I was charged for seven nights. Called the hotel and the nice lady indicated the original reservation was for seven nights and she would have to forward my request for credit on to management. I just checked my credit card bill and she’d already credited me $25 which I’m assuming is their ‘concession’ for this issue. I just threw the entire bill into dispute with my card company. I will only pay for what I utilized - six nights. ALSO: if you’re an Honors member and like to pre-select your room on the app before check-in, don’t bother. The app may confirm you, but this hotel pays NO attention to it. The desk personnel - all very nice - profess not to know what you’re talking about. I had a difficult time believing previous posts by others regarding shady transactions here. Now….?

Disappointing option We wanted a location close to NASA, and this hotel is only about 15 minutes away. The reviews were pretty positive, so I booked it for 3 nights. Stevie at the front desk was phenomenal and was really the only bright part of our stay. The room was small and is in need of TLC and upgrades. We overlooked the pool, and there was a party by the pool one night, and the people were so loud that we had to turn up the TV to drown them out. We were told it closed at 10pm, but the loud noise continued way past that time. Housekeeping was supposed to come every other day...they never showed up, despite them being next door to our room when we left in the morning (and me telling the housekeeper that the room was available). Late afternoon, I called the front desk and was told someone would bring me clean towels. They never came, and I had to call again. The rest of the staff, including the GM, just didn't seem to care. Stevie took down my contact information to have the GM call, but the GM never called. So I called, but she was never available. I was very disappointed and would recommend others stay at a different hotel.
